Every time I go it's a very good atmosphere. Everyone is professional Justin and Ivy make it fun and enjoyable. Wish I could donate every day.
Johnny Perez
They are extremely friendly and professional. The place is very clean. The only problem I have is they rarely answer the phone.
Crystal Watkins
No one answers the phone for you to set up an appointment. And when u show up there's never any appointment for weeks at a time
Paul Kolb
This location is awesome. They are very professional, efficient and they really care about their donors. Rhonda and Sirina are among the best. The GM Rick is a hands on leader and is really good at his job and is very well respected.

If they never answer the phone, how are they putting you on hold for 30min
I would go in as early as you can it takes about 3 to 4 hrs for the first time
Make sure the mail is not hand written, bring the envelope, and it had to say somewhere that it was mailed within 30 days
One to two weeks but stay away feom CSL
No just have recent mail no later than 30 days with your name state ID and social security card
You don't, but they recommend that you do because they often stop taking walk in donors as they get busy.
$50.00 to 100.00 for first 5 donations
You need your ID proof of address and your social.
Yes you can. You need a Florida Driver's License or Photo I.D. and Social Security Card. If your Address is correct on your I.D. you DON'T need proof of mail. Now if you have a different address on your I.D. than you need proof of mail, anything post marked within the last 30 days. It can't be hand written and we have to see the post mark in the corner! Please come in and Donate and Save A Life.... You only need proof of mail if the Address on your Drivers License is the incorrect address where you LIVE!!
You get 50 to 60 dollars for the first 5x. Then it is 25 and 40 if you donate 2x in a week.
The seat gets wiped down, dried and then you get called. If the arm rest is where the feet should be, the chair has been sanitized. Its second nature for the phlebotomists to sanitize the whole chair its part of their bit
Yes you do. Has to be within 60 mile radius.
You'll get paid. Sometimes it can take an hour or so. I know it's frustrating to go through the effort of waiting, getting stuck in the finger, getting jabbed in the arm, sitting there for the hour+you're their, but they'll always pay. The last day I was there the paying out system, their software, went down, but I still got paid it didn't show up right away, it took about an hour and a half, but it still showed up. Just be patient. They'd get in a lot more trouble to not give your husband the $.
Their phone system is being Rebooted you're not able to get through you have to go visit the address posted
No they don't
Think they open late today
I would call and ask? They do have a list. Inside there is a list posted
As a photo ID, of course. Remember you still need valid proof of Social Security Number and Proof of address (30 days, original envelope, no handwriting, must live within 30 miles of center)
Yes we are.... Open from 7:00am-5:00pm
Sunday and Tuesday are ur days to donate
At BPL you are only donating your Plasma not your blood, we return that back to you. I hope this helps and you are more than welcome to come over and donate!
That's all you need and no mail needed
If the address on your ID is correct you don't need a piece of mail
No you can't donate BLOOD and PLASMA in the same month! If you donate blood, you cannot donate plasma for 6-8 weeks
They'll need to re-process you to donate again.
As of right now, we are unsure of hours of operation
Call and make an appointment for your first visit.
It's $125 for the first four donations and then it goes 40 and 100 every week after that I'm pretty sure this is right I looked at it Tuesday when I was there. It states you can make up to 825 in a month?
When I went for my first time I had called prior and they said you didn't need an appointment you could just walk in but maybe they've changed it in the last month.
Josh you're exactly right! It's still better than the rest of the plasma places.
Keep calling call early or late no walk INS the appt is usually 2 weeks out.
Yes call them
The first 8 visits will equal $1100 and must be completed in 30 days
New Doners get $1100 for 8 donations. 1st & 2nd is $150/ea, 3rd &4th is $175/ea. 5th 6th and 7th $100/ea and 8th is $150 Update, now only paying $730 in September
$1100 for new donor in a month. First pay out is $150
It take me about 15 minutes
Hi Rhonda! Thank you for your interest in donating plasma. New donors can earn up to $1100 at the Biomat Clearwater in November. To find out if your center takes appointments, please contact your nearest plasma center directly. To learn more about what it takes to be one of our donors, please visit http://www.grifolsplasma.com/en/web/plasma/plasma-donor/first-time-donor-faqs.
DL and social security card
Yes. Current pay rate is $40 per donating. $90 for 5th and 8th donation
Yes
You need to bring your ID, SS card, and a piece of unopened mail with your name and address.
Daniel, they are unfortunately understaffed right now. Leave a message and if you need to ask for Brittany. I had to email and call- if the directory allows, again, get directed to Brittany. Best time to call is after 9 am, but before 3 pm.
Early on the weekdays is best time to go. Not very busy but things are slowed as they're doing social distancing so only so many people are allowed inside and are letting donors in one at a time to monitor occupancy
Just walk in. Have everything you need but you can walk in.
I haven't seen anything posted inside about potentially closing yet.
We are open from 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday! Monday thur Friday it's 7am-7pm.... Hope this helps you!
After the initial 5 donations you average about 425 a month if you do it twice a week it's 8 donations a month with bonuses the month of December they're offering over $100 in bonuses but it's usually about 80 any other month
You get $50.00 your first time and that's for the first five times you donate. But be warned it takes time to get threw the first time, so make sure you have time to spare. It could take up to 2-3 hours to get processed. And then 45 minutes to an hour to donate.
56 days. (The same day the blood donation center says you can donate whole blood is the first day you can donate plasma)
It's 50.00 your first 5 times for brand new donor's or a return donor after 6 months.
Contacting medical staff on site is your best option for all the accurate info! Here's a very brief, nonspecific shell of the program: If you have had a Hep B shot in the past, your body will usually create antibodies against Hep B. If you have enough antibodies in your system to qualify for the program, you may be able to be enrolled into the program. Also, you may be eligible to receive a Hep B shot from BPL. As with any program, restrictions apply.
The first 5 times you donate you get $50 after that it goes to $20 the first time in the week then to $45 the 2nd time that week.
You have to have two matching IDs. The suffix must match
Blood type does not matter for a plasma donation. As of today, first 5 donations are $50; subject to change.
Outside of your first donation, only If you lapse for six months you are required to bring in address verification. (Non-expired State issued ID, mail w/ postage stamped in last 30 days, or non-expired lease). They have the ability to ask for proof at any time for any reason.
Yeah you can use an out of state I'd as long as you have current mail with your recent address on it within the last 30 days.
Yes
You have to live within 30 miles to donate at this center
Hours for Veterans Day Sunday are 8am-4pm and the latest someone can enter to donate is 4pm.
Yes it will, try to find a W2 or other tax form with asuffix( its an acceptable replacement for SS). I work there, and try have to match. Otherwise the argument "this could be your father/son/grandfather" will come into play. If you dont have a tax form with the suffix than you need a different government issued state ID thats not expired, without a suffix so they match (a passport will work) Main thing to remember: with or without, they HAVE to match
yea Tuesday you can donate then you have to skip a day then you can again. then you have to wait a week
This location does not.
Noone under 18 is allowed in the building, no exceptions.
Right now it's 75 for your first 2 donations then 60 on your next 3
You'll need to call to verify if you can even donate of you were an active member of the military because there are restrictions on travel.
$60 first 4 times and then $25 first weekly donation and $40 second donation
Anything with your name on it.
Maybe there are busy! I called only once and they did answer ☺
2 then 5 i donate tuesday then go back thursdsy then go back again the following Tuesday
If your Address is on your Social Security Card, It did not come from Social Security...
Yes
I don't think so, no.
$60.00 for first five times
Call BPL 50 first 6 Donation then 25 & 40 bonus on 6th&8th Donation
They give u 60 for your first 5 visits, and u can go twice a week. You have to have ur Id, ss card and 2 pieces of mail from it address. When u go please use me as a reference. Angela Burch 😇
$60 the first 5 times you go. Then after that I think its based on how much you weigh.
I live 911 palmetto street am I allowed to go
Yep. And I don't know how far, I am 12 miles away and use this center.
Id SSN card mail withing last 30 days
It depends on the person you got people thats heavy handed I kept geting sick so I stop going
I went 5 times and got $60. If you refer somebody, they go and donate, and tell them you referred them, then you’ll get another $30. They provide pizza most of the time and movies to watch while donating as well as many other incentives (more money, gift cards, etc., for what they call “All-Star” donors.)
Only hard drugs. They don't care about pot. The only thing is. They had me sit there for like 6 hours waiting not knowing when I was going to be seen filling out all this paperwork just to tell me that they would not take my plasma for money because I had two anti acid pills I take a day. Just tell them you don't take any medicine but I tell you this place is dirty and these people are unprofessional. CSL is better but they're very strict. They will bruise you and then accuse you of being a drug addict. They did that to me. These places suck. If you need extra money do this as a last resort because taking plasma out of your body twice a week can be harmful to your health.
Id, social security card, and a piece of mail for proof of address
$50 the first 5 times and then after that they go by your weight which how much plasma you will have to donate so people that's 170 and under after their first 5 donation get paid $20 their first donation of the week and the second donation of the week you $35 175 and up get paid $25 the first donation and the second donation of the week you get $40 the 5th or 6th donation you get a $20 bonus on top of what you making donating 8th donation may be $50 or $60 bonus on top of what you making donating
