Nice amenities, but extremely noisy. Neighbors played loud bass starting at 11 or 12 all through the night you call security they do nothing about it (not even sure they come) management seemed nervous to even reach out and say anything to the individuals. At the end of the lease was charged the remainder of the days of that month for the parking spot/carport even after I had moved out and lease was over, 9 days exact (strange) If you don’t mind being woke up in the middle of the night this is your place.

I have been pet sitting there for years. The elevator is constantly out of order. It was actually out for SEVERAL months last year through early this year. Parking can also be an issue. The staff is okay.

I didn't understand the concept of no doors for bedrooms

Lived here for 6 months in building 3 facing the pool. A few pros here and a lot of cons but that’s generally speaking to the Las Colinas lake apartments in general. A LOT of crime in the area thats obscured by a nice area and above average incomes. Pros: 1) AMLI maintenance and staff were very courteous and helped me right away with anything I needed including helping me through a re-letting process with no hassle or false promises. 2) Surrounding area, lake, restaurants, TMC is all very nice and walkable with lots to do 3) Apartment unit interior is updated and gym was small but clean and never super busy Cons: 1) Noise is pretty bad here not going to lie. I had pretty respectful neighbors but still heard plenty through the bedroom wall. Floors above are hardwood so I had a LOT of footsteps back and forth and they had a dog which made things doubly worse. And lastly the pool crowd even though mostly respectful still could here laughs, shouts, and kid screams and I cant imagine the units facing the train side are any better. 2) Crime in the area is really bad. Garage is gated key fob entry with cameras on every floor and someone tried to steal my car, breaking the passenger window in the process and cost me a total of $500 to fix. Apartments handed over footage to cops but nothing else to compensate and police basically blew it off as no big deal. Several other vehicles were vandalized or stolen in the area during my 6 month stay. If you drove a MOPAR or popular truck/SUV beware as they’re targeted the most. 3) Elevators were down a lot during my time there but seemed to get better towards the last 2 months of me being there. 4) Delivery drivers get lost or dont know how to enter the building at least 25% of the time. Seriously. Every door needs a key fob or multiple step touch screen prompt to call your phone to allow them to enter the building so I had several delivery orders from Doordash, UBER eats, Amazon Fresh etc get canceled or dropped off outside or random places because of this issue. Huge hassle to deal with on a repeat basis. 5) Lastly, I mentioned the parking garage but didn’t get to the part where if you don’t have a reserved spot you will most likely always have to park near the roof because the spots are extremely limited and apparently no one leaves their home lol. I worked from home but anytime I would go out especially coming back late weekday or weekend there almost never be an open spot when I returned. So get used to walking a lot. You will need a cart if you buy groceries for sure. Thats all of my lengthy review. Final summary, if you want to live here do your best to get a top floor unit facing the lake. That will be your best experience by far to avoid some of the cons I had living here. ✌🏻
