I should have read the reviews. Capital City said our copay would be $380, which we paid. Of course they say this is an estimate. Then we get a $4000 bill from AMERICAN ANESTHESIOLOGY. They don't take either my primary or secondary insurance.

I’ve had 2 major orthopedic surgeries at Cap City: one in May 2021, one just recently in March of 2022. The staff is excellent and the care is first rate. Both times everything went off smoothly, without a hitch. I was well prepared pre-op and had a clear understanding of my post op care routine. Best of all- I had a terrific outcome from my first surgery (YAY!) and am expecting the same from this second one. You’re in good hands here!

This billing team is horrendous. Expect for them to be incompetent dealing with insurance. About once a month I reach out to them and request they send my bill to the proper insurance, to which they respond it will be processed within 30 days. My insurance tells me they never received anything and I go back and contact CCSC. Loop continues for 6.5 months until they eventually send you to collections.
