Excellent food in relaxed atmosphere, a tad slow with service, especially with drink refills! Lucky we were not trying to make a show or movie!

Beautiful area to walk in with family. Not very long though, so don't expect a trek. It's more of a short, relaxing walk than anything else. Still, getting to see the river, the amphitheater, and some of the historical and informational tidbits scattered throughout was very enjoyable :)

The general consensus is that it is a very safe site. Personally, there's no such place as a perfectly safe place. For the River walk, anytime before midnight you will find walkers, couples, and families with young children on the River walk. There have been isolated cases of harassment but highly visible police presence resolved the problem. After midnight it is highly unlikely that any one will be on the River walk unless there's a concert in the amphitheatre which sits on the river's edge. It's a beautiful area any time of the day, go see for yourself.
Yes dogs are welcomed. They have to be on a leash and you must pick up after them.

Definitely not a swim area, but a lovely place to walk and enjoy time with family. Especially when the market is open in the summer.
There are spaces near the Marriott or behind the restaurant across the street there.
Their is a place... Go down past BBQ barn to next light. Turn Left in neighborhood at top of hill. 1st right go straight and empty lot will be on the right... Carry a keg to calm the neighbors! Have fun!

On the Riverwalk you cannot ride bikes. You only can ride them on the Levi above the Riverwalk.

I believe it comes on daily during the summer months. But if for any reason it hasn't been on lately it may be due to Drought or water cost.
The river includes warm-water species including American shad, black crappie, bluegill, chain pickerel, channel catfish, largemouth bass, redbreast sunfish, redear sunfish, striped bass, and white bass. I'm not sure which fish are most prevalent in the Augusta area though.
