I just needed to drop off a package for shipment by FedEx, got there 15 minutes after they closed because I misread the closing time on Google Maps and the employee sweeping up took my package scanned it and printed out the receipt for me, awesome service!

If it goes UPS, it may be right away. FedEx or USPS may take until the evening, after it is picked up. FedEx will give great tracking. USPS not so much.
