Beautiful spaced out camping spots. The pond is beautiful too. The guy that runs the place is super nice and told us they usually stock the tank but its been awhile. We did have some issues with really loud neighbors. It was god awful, they where drunk, yelling at one another and played music till 2am and were up at 5am making more noise. We ended up moving camping spots to across the road just to have some peace and quiet. Hope next time we go it wont be as bad.

Peaceful, clean and scenic. Went here with my children and had a great time walking around the meadow and climbing the hollow tree. Would definitely come here again! It's also nice that they have restrooms and a little museum.

It's now open ..just went there yesterday
Yes it's open for day trips and camping. Me and my family just got back from camping Tuesday we had a great time and so would you & your family even it's for the day. Thank you.
Are you open
One dollar a night and first come first serve, no fee to enter the camp site nor entering into the park. Bear boxes and bathrooms are available and well kept.
Yes.... They evacuated the area and are not allowing anyone back there.
Yes, but they only plant the waters with fish, Tuesday through Thursday. Also, they haven't planted in a couple weeks.
Day use $5.00 Camp night $15.00 if I remember correctly. Lots of trout
No, not until after the 4th of July, apparently it's been shown on local media regarding the shutdown until July 4th due to extreme falling of trees and abundant of snow. Electrical issues were being corrected or updated.
I hope they kick out because I'm so bored
Nooooo you cant hunt in a public park but areas around it people have, possibly behind it. There is deer and lots of bears.
From what the camp host has told me they are planning on opening the entire mou tain for this up coming weekend. There hasn't been any fish stocking as of yet so all fishing is for hold overs which got pretty cleaned up Saturday. But so much Friday or sunday
Yes and yes
Tuesday and Thursday
Yes they are but its first come first serve no reservations
Yes
I was up there the weekend of memorial and again the fallowing week. I was told by the camp host that it was open for day use from 8am to 8pm and that they were thinking of opening for camping June 4th. But just the main camp was open. Hendricks pond was blocked off, the first turn out for hidden falls was gated and that sharp turn towards b loop (back way to hidden falls) was blocked off. Idk if they still will be or not.
It's on the schedule to plant Trout at Lake Success.
The best spot right now would be Shaver Lake.
Hi Verda, there is a website that you can check out Tulare County parks for future reference; TulareCountyParks.org is a good site.
Just park on the lower part and get your true hiking, camping skills on
Not for a couple more weeks. They're still working on the electrical problems.
It is not open we drove up friday and met with CalFire CO it is closed due to heavy snow and fallen trees in roadway. You can go Quaking Aspen they are open we just came back yesterday afternoon. $26per night $7 extra vehical
I went yesterday and it's closed but last year I think they opened sooner but hopefully soon
DFG stock the lakes with trout, I don't know if there are any other species or not. Yes, there are camp sites.
does not speak
Not sure. But i do know that đ„ fire works are prohibited, so i wouldn't think so.
