Prompt, professional but friendly service. Chris, took the time to explain what he was doing to diagnose my Air Conditioning problems and the steps to repair this. Service was personable and work performed quickly. Prices were reasonable and I was so impressed with the experience I bought a service plan from Chris/Timos Because I trust Chris the technicians work and Timos itself.

Questions & Answers

I am buying a house in north Palm Springs mid February and would like to establish a yearly maintenance contract with an HVAC company to check, service and maintain the system twice a year. Do you offer such a contract and what is its cost?

We have the same service plan with Timo. They are very good. Unfortunately, I don't recall the cost. But I do remember it's not unreasonable.

I was told that th state of California requires an inspection after the new system is installed. Is this correct

Hi, Patricia. There are three steps to fulfill the state’s permitting process. The first step is to pull the required permit with the city’s building department. The second steps is to have the newly installed system HERS tested. A HERS test is a duct pressure test and refrigerant pressure test. Once that is completed (and passes) the third and final step is to call the city building inspector out for a final inspection. The inspector will request the HERS test paperwork. Hope that helped.
