Had a blast my first time here this week—can’t believe I’ve never been before! Brought some snacks and drinks, blankets and chairs, and set up a nice spot. My friend brought their van, which we parked toward the back of the screen per the staff’s request for large vehicles; but we still had no problem seeing the screen since it wasn’t packed, even though we didn’t arrive super early. Sound came through the speakers great. I was surprised there wasn’t more noise pollution from the other screens, but I didn’t hear a thing despite having a busy showing behind us. And dog-friendly is such a plus—my girls loved it! Stayed through the double feature just for fun. Will definitely be back.

We love this place! We have been going for years. I would have gave 5 stars, but for the first time ever our children were asked for student IDs to get student pricing. It's summer vacation, we've never been asked the past couple years. I could understand if they looked like grown adults, but not even close! If this is a policy that's fine, but staff need to follow policy consistently.

Overall it's fun! I'm giving three stars because they need freaking bathrooms and it looks like nothing has been updated since they built the place. The concession area is quite small which is generally fine, except it gets suuuper congested and slow and *crowded* and could be set up to be much more efficient. Other than that, fun experience!

Such a fun experience! We had issues with the radio, but I think that was our radio vs the broadcasting. I was really impressed with how many people showed up, it was fun to see! Will definitely go back next summer.

Yes
They will give you a slip with the stations on it because every screen use a different station
You can check their Facebook page, they post what movies they are showing each week.
Of course, just pay attention to length of movies to insure best time to move
Open
You can leave when you want & it's easy to get out
Well of course. I always bring food in. Just don't liter. Please be respectful and throw your trash away where is goes!!!
10.50 for adults lesser amounts for seniors and children. I think 3 and under are free.
We have a boom box that takes batteries. Simple and easy. Never have a problem. Radio normal has better quality then the old speakers any way. Over the years the speakers got a bit crackly and hard to hear. Normal can pick up a radio for 10-15 bucks at the store. Which you should have in an emergency anyway.
11.50 cost my 26 yr old and me 23.00
Weekend Pricing Adult $11.50 Celebration Cinema Getty drive in has more pricing options too. They are owned by celebration Cinema. Child (6-12) $7.00
Yes, they are showing movies. Probably check their website to see what is playing.
Yes card only at the moment. You can also buy your tickets online
It's open, look online for movies. They're playing older movies because there's no newer ones. But it's only 5$ a person.
They are pet friendly yes and if you hadnt been there yet hurry fast bc they will be closing the week of labor day.
Yes. What I do is, I pre-pop popcorn at home and I use giant rubbermaid containers to store them in. But it saves so much money and we bring A LOT.
At the Entrance when you pull in. They will have a few different lanes you can go thru.
But you can bring your own food and drinks . its cheaper to go to the gas station and get pipcorn and snacks. If you have a tryck you can lay in the bed to watch .
I believe its doors open @ 8pm.. movie starts and dusk
While I'm not sure about the actual date, it's typically in September when they close
Check thursday on facebook.
Full price regardless. Considering this weekend is the last of the season there is a special price. Please check their Facebook page for current events and questions
I believe the last Friday and Saturday of October is last weekend they are open. They have a website to check
7.50 per and adult on bargain night and if you buy the tickets online it's an additional 1.50 for the processing fee.
That's a great question....I don't have an exact answer, but I know they usually have stuff going on around Halloween so maybe after that.
Sept 12 is when they are only open on the weekends
Tuesdays are $7.50 for adult ($11 on weekdays and $11.50 on weekends) Children are $5.50 ($6.5 weekdays $7 weekends) Or if you get the moviepass it's $20/mo and you get 3 movies a week. You can use it at any celebration location including imax movies.
You can go as early as 7. I take kids to play soccer and frisbee.
Yes
April 16th Friday
They are shooting for April 16th, if they can get everything setup, otherwise April 23rd. According to my wife who runs the projectors.
Not exactly sure. Would suggest calling celebration cinema they are the primary owners of the Getty 4
It's on their website
I was there when they had the Garth Brooks concert and there were people out of their cars and in lawn chairs.
You get ticket when you drive in they have four screens to chose from
yes you can
No cash at the concessions, but otherwise you're fine
You should get a card with them when you check in
Try to arrive anywhere between 20minutes early-the stated start time of the movie. If you arrive early, you'll be able to get a good spot and avoid the long line, but you'll most likely end up waiting 40+min for the movie to start. If you arrive right on time, you won't be guaranteed a good spot, but you won't have to wait as long, since the movie starts at least 20 minutes later than stated
I'm used to them playing double features, but they are doing 4 movies right now. They have 4 screens. When it gets dark earlier, I'm hoping they go back to double features.
Hopefully soon
I believe it varies weather depending..however you should be able to call ...and they leave a message that says when they open.. At least closer to spring .. I know for sure .. :)
The getty drive-in opens for the 2019 season on April 19th and they operate 7 days a week until they close in the fall.
They say dusk however its usually when its completely dark
If it is a severe storm they stop the movie and give out rain checks.
You should get a card listing the stations when you buy your tickets
$11 for adults, $6.50 for kids, $7.00 for seniors
It's playing tonight and tomorrow along with Annabelle comes home
Tuesday night
The speaker worked when we went but not as good as your radio would.
$11 for an adult. No veteran or senior discounts when I went last.
It depends on what screen you're at.
That i do not remember but i think its the cheaper day for movies
Good question...... You would need to call Cinema Carousel at 798-2608
Most times they cancel . but do call to make sure
Tuesdays is cheaper than any day
I seen it was April 19th this year seen it on there Facebook page
End of September; and no. They Did host a Trunk or Treat it n October 27.
Has been for about a week now.... But Marquee has Trunk or Treat date on it
See you in april
Next holiday weekend
Midnight.
Open seven days a week. Movies start when it gets dark, between 9:30 and 10:15 ish. They normally close for winter as far as I know. And open back in April.
Towards end of September, on the last holiday of the summer
To my knowledge there is a flat rate cost no discount. Is double check with them.
A definite answer I do not have, but do not see why not. Should be ok.
$10.50 is the cost across the board for adults per their voicemail. $7 on Tuesdays.
Everyday...movies start at dusk..between 9:30 -10om 2 movies on each screen and can move around to what ever two movies you want to watch. Also pack your own pop and snacks...it's cheaper to do it that way. Have fun
Tuesday is a discount day where it is cheaper to go
Yes on a leash
The double features are just that you gey 2 movies for one ticket, and they both play on the same screen, back to back. It seems like they switch tgeir listibgs on fridays, so they only show whats playing right now on their website, then switch it over on friday. Not sure why it runs like that, ran into the same issue last week. Hope this helped!
Always depends on how the movie does, as far as how many weeks it's there. Currently, there are 930 showtimes starting Friday through at least Wednesday.
10.50 adults. Less for seniors and children. I think 3 and under are free??
If it's on the screen, it can be seen! No editing. They do try to put child friendly movies at screen 1 which is by the restrooms.
They have a swingset by one of the screens and a bonfire near the center. Some people will even play ball. You definitely dont have to sit inside your vehicle if you don't want to.
Yes you can. But make sure you leave your lights off. That really upsets others!
If you are not too picky where you park you can get there 15 minutes before show time. It's not too busy in my opinion. Tuesday is bargain night I think.
No, start car every once in a while or don't worry about it, the staff will jump your car if battery goes dead.
They are all different. One is usually a kids or family movie. Another is a horror, another action, and comody, etc..You can go on line to see when and what is playing.
I’ve never seen them have an early showing like that. Last I knew it was always around 9-930 pm when the movies start.
I went to dead pool 2 last week and there was a 2nd feature. I have never seen them not show a second feature. Went to a different movie after deadpool 2 on a different screen, the avengers, it didnt get done until almost 2am
Sorry, that is not allowed. Liability and all.
They stop in September and have a Halloween special on the 28th of Oct. where kids can get candy from the cars and they show Halloween movies
Nope sorry! Catch them next year! :-) you can Google the drive in and find all the info! :-)
It was closed this weekend was last weekend was the end of season.
