We have a boom box that takes batteries. Simple and easy. Never have a problem. Radio normal has better quality then the old speakers any way. Over the years the speakers got a bit crackly and hard to hear. Normal can pick up a radio for 10-15 bucks at the store. Which you should have in an emergency anyway.
Some poles still have speakers but barely any. They give you a piece of paper for radio stations per screen for sound. They do accommodate if your battery dies they will come jump your car. But its just not the same. Still enjoyable and fun. I don't let it effect me from going
No more speaker poles. Just turn your radio to the designated station.
You will need to use your radio. Phone apps won't stream the odd stations. Bring a boom box unless you have a hatch back/ truck/ suv if you plan to sit out or you might have issues heating through your trunk!
You use the speakers in your car. If you end up needing a jump, they take care of you, and get your car running again.
