I love this post office. I have lived in 6 states and 2 countries and have always avoided visits to the post office because of surly staff and arbitrary nonsense. This PO is quite the opposite. Our rural mailbox location is about a block away from the house on an empty road. Can't be made secure, so we only use our PO box. Kathy is like a one man band running the whole show, but always has a smile, recognizes you and knows where your stuff is. Sure, it's understaffed and can get pretty busy. If I need something at the counter and see 8 cars parked out front, I just drive by and catch it on the flip side. We actually look forward to going to the post office. Thanks Kathy!

35 minute wait time to discuss options of getting my mail box key since they are only open a few hours a day and at no time during the weekend. I guess they believe no one works a 9-5 job or more...

Gail you have to go to the main post office. I'm also 2 weeks new here & I had to do the same. Bring with you if you're renting your lease agreement. If you're an owner bring you something that shows you're the owner. They'll give you 3 keys & your box # & if there is mail waiting they will give it to you. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!!
You go to the postal station and get the key there i don't know what the charge is but I'm sure it's reasonable
