Wonderful state park to camp at. Take some time climb the 303 stairs to the top, it's worth it. Nice little lake (Friendship Lake) down the road to fish and swim. Bugs were not bad at all, although it is only June.

Wow what a climb. The trails are nice enough. But the overlook on top of the park. 300 plus stairs to climb. Worth it. They broke it up with rest stop every so many steps.that view. There is also picturgraphs at the parks in an outcrop area.

Although I don't know if there are Ley-lines somewhere in this park. I wanted to post a definition of Ley-lines here. The current definition of a Ley-line according to Wikipedia is as follows: 'Ley lines are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths. Their existence was suggested in 1921 by the amateur archaeologist Alfred Watkins, whose book 'The Old Straight Track' brought the alignments to the attention of the wider public'.

Yes, they all have picnic tables, campfire rings and a small bench to sit on.
Yes Lot's of hiking trails, just have to park and enter on winter trail
There is no swimming there. There is a small creek that runs through park but not enough to swim. The Friendship Lake has a small swim beach about two miles south on the left going into Friendship.
Yes dogs are allowed. They have camping, hiking, stair climbing.
Theres Camping year round, however you will have to hike in as they close the gate sometime in October for drive in service. P.s. You will also have to self register as the office is usually closed during the winter months
