Large interactive museum great for families or curious adults that love to learn. I spent 3+ hours in there and only left because I was hungry!

We went several weeks ago with our 2 year old son and our 4 year old daughter. Everyone in the family really enjoyed this museum.
$12.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors (ages 65+) and young adults (ages 13-24), and childeren are $7.95 (ages 3-12)
Yes you can come during summer camp. Some of our learning labs will be closed, however, all exhibits other than Our Backyard are unaffected. Our Backyard is closed from 10am to 1pm on weekdays during the summer camp season, which goes through August 9. The week of July 29 to Aug. 2 Our Backyard will closed during the week--including that Wednesday evening.
The website says it is open 363 days of the year (closing Thanksgiving and Christmas) and no other holidays are listed as different then normal. Normal hours are 10 am - 5 pm.
Not exactly, it's better than that. This summer a Hogle Zoo ticket (or membership) gets you half price admission to NHMU--including our current special exhibit. This promotion is only with Hogle Zoo. It does not include Tracy Aviary.
Yes, but as Benjamin stayed it's best to check with staff or maybe on-line.
There are 4 floors of exhibits to explore, so you should go early. We spent about 3 hours there.
You can get them online for a discount, or full price at the front desk
Yes there is. Ask our guest services staff at the main ticket guest on level one and they will show you.
When I went there 3 weeks ago there were a lot of people there. Its a really cool place.
Lots of reconstructed fossils Dinosaurs. Great museum.
Yes
Tickets are $14.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids ages 3-12. We're open seven days/week. For full pricing info visit https://nhmu.utah.edu/visit/hours.
Yes, they do. You would have to inquire about the rental cost.
We have small lockers big enough to stuff a coat into, but we have coat hangers as well. The lockers fit valuables and purses/small backpacks.
There are discounts available at present: https://purchase.growtix.com/e/natural_history_museum_of_utah $12.95 Adult, usually $14.95, $7.95 Child, usually $9.95
It depends. If you are a student at the U, there is no charge. If you are 50 or better and take classes through Osher, there is no charge. Certain days and evenings are free. Give them a call.
Naturally
It is about 10.00 for a child. However, you can contact them for a discount or more info on a tour guide or what exhibits they have.
Si 100 por cada persona no deverdad
DK. During Indian market they ordered lunch boxes for us because their deli food court was closed.
We spent 3 hours there last week. I like to read all the plaqyes6
I think the Natural History Museum has the idea. Also you could Uber or Lyft from a KOA if you're staying the night there. They have a light rail system, but it didn't extend to the Museum at the time. Worth the extra effort. It's an amazing place!
This page has prices starting at $14.95 for adults: https://nhmu.utah.edu/welcome
Unfortunately no. To certify a meteorite requires chemical analysis, something we're not set up to do.
I am not sure. But as a UofU staff we got the refund when we contacted them after booking the tickets. We did not know before that for university staff it's free of cost. Thank you.
I'm not sure, as I was just visiting there. However, I can suggest you take it to a department at a university, which specializes in such items.
Check the website for hours during holidays 👌🏽
Im not sure, I would want to say yes if it is a good piece for the museum im sure they would take it. If you really want to donate it I would give them a call
Not really with it being up on the mountain it's about a 5 to 10 minute drive to local restaurants
Absolutely! We strongly recommend NHMU. We're the number one rated thing to to in Salt Lake County as far as paid attractions on TripAdvisor. We hope to see you. Little kids love this place. The Museum is truly good for all ages.
Sorry for the late reply: It's the same as any other day. That's 10 am to 5 pm, except for Wednesdays when we stay open late. We are open on New Year's Day every year. Verify on our website to see if there is an early closure (especially if New Year's is on a Wednesday).
15 dollars
Yes. Museum is not to be missed. Plan on two hours minimum.
