Our youngest student was 11, our oldest students have been over 60. If you're under 18 you will need a parent to sign a waiver. We also need to have a waiver signed if you don't already have a high school degree or equivalent. You can be a complete beginner (like I was when I attended culinary school) or an experienced Chef. We have small classes, so we can accommodate any skill level. Call us for more info at (801) 413-2800. We can show you our new facility in Salt Lake City!
There's different options. They have a cuisine course, a pastry option or take both for the full experience. Call Donna in Admissions and she can give you the full price out.
There's no need to go to college for culinary. We have hand-on classes and certify our students after just 6-16 weeks!
Minors can attend the same programs with adults, but need to have a waiver signed by their parents, acknowledging that this can't count as "Professional" training until they are 18 and have completed high school. Once they hit 18 and finish high school, they can trade in their Certificate for a Professional Certificate.
Our youngest student was 11. Most of our students are 18-60+ No skills are necessary to begin. Some people know nothing when they start (like me, when I attended culinary school). Other students already run kitchens and catering companies. Any level of experience can attend because our classes are so small. Call us for more information at (801) 413-2800. - Laurie
