We used Alliance Senior Care when both of my parents were in hospice care, and we were extremely happy with their services. The caregivers very professional. They provided outstanding care and were kind and caring, and they developed a bond with both of my parents. I am so thankful that we found Alliance Senior Care.

This company can careless about you. This company and another company was partners which they split up. I originally was with the other company but I had 1 client with them. I worked 2 days with Alliance February 28, 2022 and March 1st. Unfortunately I just decided to work fully with the other company. I've been waiting on my check till this day. They claim they mailed it by showing me a picture of a check stub. I asked him can we resolve this by stopping that check and writing me out another check and I will drive to come pick it up. I haven't heard anything yet about that. It's just ridiculous. It took a month to resolve the issue. The company could of stop the check and reissued another check but it was back and forth for a whole month before they decided to do direct deposit blaming it on the mail people when they could have stepped in and just canceled the first check

When my mom passed away and I was tasked with finding care for my father who has dementia, I was overwhelmed. And candidly, not equipped or sure what would be best for my father's care. Dina Hurnevich and Alliance Senior Care met my challenge with outstanding consulting, compassion, competence, and most importantly care for my father. Tragically dementia can't be cured. I believe however, because of Dina and her Team, my father has had more and better days than he would have without their care. Those extra days are a gift and I'm grateful. I strongly recommend their services.

Unfortunately, Medicare and most health insurance policies do not have cover non-medical home care services. However, if your loved one was a veteran or the spouse of a veteran, Veteran’s Affairs does have programs that may assist with home care services. Long Term Care Insurance and some life insurance policies may pay for some all of the home care services that you need. For more information or if you are not sure, give Alliance Senior Care a call, we can help you determine if you have coverage that may assist in paying for home care services.
Hiring a caregiver requires you to act as an employer and comply with complex employment regulations. You could also be liable if a private caregiver is hurt in your loved one’s home. Also, you need to cover sick and vacation days when your provider is not available. Working with an agency like Alliance Senior Care eliminates the issues that come with hiring and managing employees. Caregivers are rigorously screened, managed, scheduled and supervised by us. Also, private caregivers are generally not.
Alliance Senior Care has a rigorous screening process that includes check of employee’s criminal background, sex offender registries, nursing home registry’s, references and driving records as well as a of qualifications. In addition, all of our caregivers are trained and many are certified. Amongst our ranks are CNA’s, Home Health Aides (HHA), Medical Assistants (MA), Patient Care Tech (PCT’s), Nursing students, EMT’s and many more. Most importantly, all of our caregivers are compassionate.
In the event of a medical emergency 911 is immediately called. All caregivers go through emergency preparedness training. As part of creating a personalized care plan we include the client’s emergency instructions. This can include Advanced Directives, DNR status, emergency contacts and hospital preferences. Rest at ease that we have prepared our staff on how handle emergency situations.
Everyone ages differently but here are some things to look for when visiting a loved one: Has personal hygiene declined? Are there any concerns with memory? Is the house clean? Do they have groceries (not just frozen dinners)? Have you noticed any weight loss? These are just a few things to consider when you’re thinking about home care. If you are not sure call for a free assessment to determine if home care can help improve your loved one’s quality of life and your peace of mind.
Transportation is a popular home care service. Transportation is not limited to just doctor’s appointments. We encourage our clients to maintain as many activities that they previously enjoyed. Many of our clients use transportation for shopping and errands, book clubs, exercise and art classes, the symphony, museums and other community events. Many of our clients start with transportation services as driving may be their first need for additional services.
Alliance Senior Care staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There is always a live person on call to handle any care needs that come up after hours or emergencies. Our clients are never left waiting for an answer or without the support that they need.
Our goal to establish a long-term caregiving relationship with your loved one. Strong rapport and trust with a caregiver is vital to a successful home care experience. However, if your loved one receives care for many hours in a day or at different times throughout the day and the week, it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver within the week. When we start service, we identify the caregiver or caregivers that are going to be part of each client’s care team. We introduce each caregiver on the team to the client and ensure that they are familiar with the client and their care needs. At Alliance Senior Care, we believe our client’s deserve the respect of knowing who is coming to care for them and when they will arrive.
Home Care is available to all adults and can assist with a variety of home care needs . Our clients can be seniors, auto accident victims, developmentally disabled, individuals recovering from surgery or individuals with chronic care. Many of our clients start services while their needs are very minimal, transportation needs, housekeeping etc. Since our services change with the client’s needs you will be able to develop and maintain a long term relationship. If you feel that you or a loved one may benefit from home care, getting a free assessment is easy. A member of our experienced staff will meet with you to determine if home care is right for you.
It varies based on the level of care that is being provided and the length of the shifts. Please call for your free virtual assessment so we can discuss your needs in further detail.
