very cute and appealing little coffee shop, the atmosphere is perfect. the cashier told me I owed 531 pennies after I ordered. however, truthfully, I've been here multiple times and ordered many different drinks, but I've never gotten something that was good enough that I'd want to order it again. I dont know if it's the coffe itself or the add ons they use, but the flavor is always just slightly off. Their iced mocha uses the same Ghiradelli chocolate syrup every place uses, and has a strange aftertaste. Their iced vanilla latte is fine, but not super flavorful, and not very sweet either.

Definitely the best coffee shop in Libertyville. Great selection of drinks and plenty of seating.

I don't know about the definition of dark roast, but they have a wide variety on coffees different origins and with different facets of aroma and taste. They don't sell flavored coffees, just different type of beans and therefore I'm sure they have great coffee for differen likings. Go and check it out. I promise it's worth the ride. The usually sell the beans in one pound bags and they will grind them for you if you want it and in the grind size you prefer.
Yup. Usually 10+ varieties. Roasted there, ground (if you want it) to order.
Literally anything they have. I am very fond of the Familia Peixoto, and the Fire Mountain. The Moka is the owner's preferred method of home brewing, so the palate skews that way.
Or on Tuesdays they also offer a free beverage with the purchase of a single bag
It's almost impossible to see when heading south. When heading north it's the 1st driveway on your left immediately after you cross the tracks. It truely is a hidden gem. Now that you know where it is, swing on by and give them a try.
They just sell bagged coffee. I believe they are one 1 pound bags.
