The prices are great during this time where other thrift stores (Goodwill, Savers) are raising their prices. I never see sales of the week posted, but every time I go to the register my price is always lower than I expected with some items getting an orange tag 35% off discount, etc. the staff are polite. The only complaint is how disorganized all the clothing is. It’s supposed to be organized by size, but you still have to do some digging.

Very organized!

I just stopped in St Vincent DePaul thrift store Libertyville. I picked some sporting goods out and put it in my cart. Two workers 10 minutes later decided that they wanted to put 2 $20 price tags on a junior Topflite & generic brand kids bag. I left my whole shopping cart and walked out. Top flite kids bag is not proline. U can’t just leave bags out for sale with a $5 sign. Then decide to price them later. Disgusted with their conduct. Even another customer that witnessed this happen couldn’t believe it.

False advertising. They advertise a senior discount on Mondays and Fridays. Good luck with that. After enduring the store's heat (no AC) I brought my items up to the counter. The cashier (who is jut like Kristen Wiig playing the Target cashier on SNL) said about item #1: No discount, this tag says Special. Item #2: No discount, this tag says eBay. Item #3 No discount, this is already on sale. Item #4 No discount, this tag also says eBay. Item #5 No discount, this item is religious. Item #6 No discount, this tag says Special. I had 6 items, no discount on any of them. So much for my senior discount. Not only that, the manager came up to the register before me with an armful of things she was purchasing from the back (that she put the price on herself) and I'm sure she got HER discount. Nice for her. They keep the good things for themselves and don't honor their discounts. Bait and Switch. Never again for this place.

Yes
If.they work.and.not a fire hazard I bet they would. I've never seen a sign saying no extension cords.
As a regular visitor to the thrift store, both as a shopper and purchaser, yes they will gladly accept your donation. They have a door down from the entrance where you can drop off whatever donations you have. They have a friendly staff. They have a fairly new space now. It is on 137 just a bit west of Milwaukee Ave on the north side of the street. It is across from the Ace Hardware. Hope this helps you.
I believe so. I've seen them there before they moved.
Many times they are short staffed...most of the people are volunteers you know. I have been there a few times but don't recall seeing mattresses. You can also try The Salvation Army too. Or local resale shops.
I don't work there, sorry.
