The whole family went to Emerson Park for the Symphoria concert and 4th of July fireworks. We go every year and always enjoy it. My only concern was that there was no handicapped parking made available. I watched a lot of people suffer over the lack. Even a drop off point would have been better than nothing.

This park is very beautiful, clean well maintained. We spent the whole day there. We brought our own lunch had a picnic. The views are just awesome!!!! They have a theater, a beach area, clean restrooms. A great gem π

Avoid if you are looking for a playground for your kids (this was the reason we stopped). Very run down and clearly not maintained...there is a section with a piece of plywood to cover it/prevent kids from falling. Walking paths are nice and the park has beautiful views - not sure if Covid related but it's clear weeding and other maintenance items are not being kept up. The bathrooms were also closed at the end of May (due to Covid per a sign)...odd since many other parks have found a way to provide these services safely.

Nice park with great views. Pretty quiet which was nice. Kudos, Emerson!

Yes, swimming is open. Last year due to the algae swimming was closed.
If you park there is a $2 fee. If you are a senior or handicapped it is $1. After 10/6/18 it is free.
Yes there is
Yes
Yes in the spring and after a real good rain fall it is not a good idea. My daughtor did get real sick after swimming in the spring. But that was about 12 years ago. Good luck and have fun
Yes and near dusk over by the jungle gym you can watch the deer walk past you. That was awsome. 2 femals & babbies.
Yes and a rental right there
Usually the Cayuga County Fair is held in Weedsport. Don't know why it said that unless they changed it. Probably the best way to find out for sure is to call the park. Emerson Park usually has an auto show on Father's Day and a carnival of some sort around the 4th of July with fireworks.I hope this was helpful.
I've heard about birthdays never attend and weddings and receptions here!
If you go over the bridge on to the island there is a dog park you can take your dog there.... A big space all fenced in.... Better access if you drive around the traffic circle.....
You can swim, but there are no lifeguards on duty. It is at your own risk and the park closes at dusk. No swimming in the channel.
6 pm is the normal time but fireworks are this evening and they asked foe kayak's to be off ths water by 4 pm. Just a heads up they may have moved swimming times too
I agree with onrr1726
The park is open right now 24 hours a day. There is no booth fee. Plenty of parking. On the other side of the park is another entrance by speedway with another parking lot I would say you can park there no problem.
From 1929 to 1944, the Philadelphia Toboggan Company's wooden merry-go-round that is now the centerpiece of Hershey Park's Founders Circle in Hershey, PA was once part of Enna Jettick Park in Auburn, NY. The park is now named Emerson Park,Β after park found Fred L.Β Emerson of Dunn & McCarthy shoe fame
Will there be fireworks at Emerson Park this year
Only charging for launching boats, that is what I was told
It didn't as of the other day and before it was only $2.00
