Love the camp ground.

Great fun for everyone. Definitely recommended for a day out on the water or a fun camping trip. Great staff as well.
Ryan Lemons
Great for kids. The playground is entertaining, the ice cream on the weekends is a hit and the lake is always pretty warm. Deer roam the campground all times of the year, letting you feed them from your hand.

Minus the fire evacuation, its one of the top 5 destinations to camp/resort

Tent Camp Area has Water only, ... close to Bath Facilities and Pool, adjacent to Lake, easy walk to Store, Club House, Play Courts. Used to allow Two Tents per Vehicle Site, IDK, may have changed to only One.
Sewer is very limited. Power is becoming limited, all sites have water.
No you don't need a membership to get into park or stay and rent things.
At most Thousand Trails, wood campfires are not allowed, but the propane firepit are allowed. At least that's how it is at Lake Minden and Lake of The Springs.

No, location is open to the public. No discounts.
I just know the one they stayed in did. It was one of the newest units. I would think that all of them would have AC as it gets hot out there
