We lucked across this campground late at night and really enjoyed where we woke up. The hot spring across the road is small and intimate, but will quickly fill up in the morning so make sure to head down early if you want to enjoy it alone. The campgrounds are quite expansive and had lots of flat places for us to pitch our tent. I was surprised about how many people worked at the campground, it felt like there were almost as many camp hosts as there were campers. The price was affordable and they had firewood for sale. I think we spent $16 for the site and $6 for the wood. Some of the hosts were a bit weird and felt almost too eager to help unload vehicles or gather wood. Overall it was a pleasant experience but I don't think we'll be back if we can help it. The camp cat was very cute and we enjoyed being able to wake up so close to the highway to continue our journey.

It was great. Campground was well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean.

Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground. Great location for rafting/kayaking the Payette River system.

Not a chance. Not only is the campground closed but it is snowy as heck up there
No, only at the host site.
Yes you can visit 24/7. Bring a flashlight the trail has steps and is difficult to see in the dark.
No. Maybe in Crouch?
No not at Hot Springs. I don't know I car/tent camp so it is not a priority for me. There is fresh water but not for individual sites.
Idaho closes in the winter. We aint open. Lol...
The springs are accessible year round. A small shovel for sand removal is advisable.
Yes
As long as there are not burn restrictions.
