wish i could give this 0 stars. my boyfriend and i decided to rent a cabin for our anniversary, we reserved an A frame cabin. it was a terrible drive up there, not that they control that, but we were so excited to get there and relax. first of all, the cabin was dirty. we ended up sweeping it completely and having to wipe everything down, which isn’t even the bad part in my opinion. after getting everything inside the cabin and going to bed, we wake up the next morning only to be told that they have to power wash the cabins and do some construction on them, including painting the outside of the cabin later in the day. we were offered a day of swimming for free, but that doesn’t fix the fact that we were not told about this beforehand at all. being inside of the cabins while this was being done wasn’t an option. so we decided to go home since we weren’t going to be able to do what we went up there for. when my boyfriend went to tell them that we were not comfortable staying in the cabin immediately after the construction was done and that we would be leaving, the staff was extremely rude except for one female. the guy who was at the counter had us pay for the night before (understandable), the upcoming night and half of the next day since we missed checkout time. we weren’t aware of any of this until AFTER checkout time. i was charged for 2.5 nights when we stayed for one and then had to stay out of the cabin for a few hours the next day. i am really upset that we were charged that much when we didn’t know about the stuff they had going on with the cabins. terrible experience. they charged us an absurd amount for something that was not our fault. i want a refund for the extra they charged us but honestly it was so bad that i don’t even want to speak with the staff unless they learn to treat customers like actual people

The pool is crystal clear and the temperature is amazing. The staff was super sweet. My disabled daughter and smaller children loved it. One can never go wrong taking the plunge at Silver Creek! Make sure you take it slow on the forest service road on the way up and down. The views are incredible. Silver Creek Plunge has a piece of my heart.

We were tent camping. It was fabulous. Although it rained an entire river on us for 2 nights. But it was beautiful and warm .

Our pool is open every day, except Wednesdays when we close it until 7pm for cleaning (our pool is then open typically from 7-10pm)

Was wondering because I've been seeing videos of marble crayfish that are able to clone themselves without a mate and I have tons of babies I might release since I didn't find a law against it in Idaho. May be good for the bass.

Was wondering because I've been seeing videos of marble crayfish that are able to clone themselves without a mate and heard they are invasive in Europe and other places. Was told that they are illegal to release in the wild due to how fast they repopulate and how they can damage the ecosystem. I myself own one and was going to let some of the babies go in the canal by my house but after hearing about how fast they can produce and whatnot I've decided I will probably just sell them on eBay and to my friends and neighbors.

No hookups, but plenty of space. Plus, there is a Forest Service camp ground right there as well.

Are camp fires allowed this time of year? Also, if so do we need to bring our own firewood?

Shelly Arnold | Aug 28, 2022
Silver Creek Plunge Resort | Aug 28, 2022

Yep! Fires are allowed as long as they are in the fire pit/fire ring. You may bring your own firewood but we encourage you to buy the wood where you burn the wood so as not to spread any invasive species. Our bundle of firewood is $15 but you may also buy wood in Crouch or Garden Valley on your way up to Silver Creek.

What does it cost for a day visit, not camping?

Sherry Stanfield | Sep 28, 2018

We payed $10.00 to swim and there were tables around the pool as well as outside the pool area. Children are probably less to swim. We ate there and you can call or go online to check on day camping
