Go there annually. My vacation spot. Love it.

Happy hour dining at the tiki bar with a large group was perfect. Plenty of seating. Excellent wait staff always available. Good food and reasonable prices. Plus, who could complain about the view? Will be back.

We have been to Pirates Cove a few times, by car and by boat. The last time the prices seemed to have increased quite considerably, I suspect like most hotels they are still trying to recuperate the money they lost through lockdown. We stayed 3 nights and came up by boat, so that was our only form of transport. That wasn't a concern for us though as we know there are many restaurants a short walk away. Pirates Cove is a little off the beaten track, but that is a good thing, but it still gets busy in The Loft Restaurant and in the bar outside down by the marina. You can reserve a table in The Loft and as you would expect it is first come, first served outside. I'm also pleased to say they have started doing breakfast again in The Loft, this stopped for sometime again due to covid and staff issues I suspect. Everyone was friendly and polite, there is some restoration happening by the marina at the moment, it didn't really interfere with us though. There is live entertainment on the weekends, it can be quite intrusive if your room is nearby, again it didn't affect us. Dockside there is a store/harbor master office with provisions for a day on the water if you came by boat. I have copied the marina and hotels rates below which were accurate at the time of writing this review. I have seen quite a price hike in the hotel particularly. We last stayed pre pandemic in August the hotel was $150 plus taxes a night, now depending on what view you want it's $290 with taxes. I do like it here but if you bring a boat, ours is a 23 ft center console, and stay in the hotel you are looking at nearly $400 a night. That's a lot and getting too high for what Pirates Cove is. However if people keep coming and paying these prices then of course they will keep charging them. In summary this is a nice small hotel with pretty good amenities, pool, gift shop, good parking, a marina and a store, add to that and a choice of places to eat if you don't mind a small walk. It is getting too expensive so I will see if my desire to return and liking for this place is tempered by the prices.

Nice people...the rooms is very outdated and the water views are not clear you see lots of fishing boat.

Yes
No longer there
They usually have two bands. The later one each night is the better.
Call and ask for the marina for reservations for slip rental. Dogs are fine on a leash.

Yes, but you need to make reservations with dock master prior. They don't always have slips available.
