Meals on Wheels are a disgrace. They only deliver when they want & the food is rotten & disgusting. The government & this program should be convicted for the poisoning of the elderly & disabled!

The Staff is warm,respectful, and friendly. I'm honored to get a well balanced hot meal through the week. This is a reward for being a senior. I look forward to social activities at the center when the pandemic is over.

I found someone through council on aging, but I don't know. I need someone to take me for procedure. I can take you. It would be my pleasure. And, if you can drive maybe you could take me. No fees.
Yes Ma'am and The Council on Aging has Transportation theirselves !
Yes sir they do and they do quite a bit of other services help you also if your elderly family member needs assistance and Home Health they can help you locate those services and if there's an emergency and you need a power bill paid for they also do that there are restrictions on it but they do help pay electric bill
Yes they will assist seniors with low income with Entergy cost you have to go there and sign up
Some centers offer dance class and stretch class but there closed right now because of the virus

People are in there throughout the day. I've seen them putting in applications in the mornings and afternoons. If you call, I'm sure they can tell you.
I am 69 and my wife is 69 how can we get help from ya'll we do not have transportation, I know Cats will bring and take us back home, but we some food for the rest of the month, can ya'll help? Mr. Berniard .
You may need to contact Acadian ,they don't deal with that.
I am unsure. Most of our apts are 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 1 p.m.
How to qualify for Meals on wheels if your on disability and Medicare
Not to my knowledge. I do know they help with energy assistance one every 6 months.
The Crawfish Boil is on March 29th at the capital center on Donmoor and Florida
You can apply for Cat's on Damand that will pick up at your home
On certain days each month.
