I have to say this is the worst facility they could have sent me to. We get treated like were literally in prison. The food is terrible i barely ate the 7 days that i was there. To say were stuck there and have no choice but to be there, mentally already on edge the faculty attitudes will really put you on edge. There rude, you ask them for anything they act as if they don't want to do there job. I couldn't even call home when i was in need of personal items, They had my mom buy all new personal items that i needed just to not allow me to use them. They would have us sitting outside on the floor just to wait to get in the Tv Room. Not all of the faculty but majority of them i feel just need to find a new job. If you have a family member etc in this facility please transfer them, i promise they are not getting the correct care.

The reviews are spot on. This is the most unprofessional, unintelligent group of health care workers I’ve seen!!! Don’t dare to call them up and ask for something simple as an update on your loved one, they act if doing there job is to much to ask of. From the administrator down to every nurse on the floor. Every one has terrible attitude, I even had one hang the phone up on me today mid sentence!!! SO DISGUSTED. Trying to get these people to pick up the phone, or let alone get usual information from is like pulling teeth. My father is being held in there when he needs emergency surgery to save his life. Yet they think it’s suitable to extend his 72 hr hold because their associates think it’s necessary to do so completely disregarding his serious health issues at hand. From what it seems they have this pattern of holding patients long than need be, for potential financial gains? If so someone needs to take a serious look into this place. Not to mention my father just had heart surgery just days prior to their supervision, and they still need to go back for second life saving surgery. What this all boils down to is THIS PLACE WOULD BE THE LAST PLACE I EVER SENT MY LOVED ONE. Unfortunately the hospital he was at chosen this god forsaken establishment. As it was out of my control, please be aware of these nasty individuals. I hope this review and others like it show the true side of this place.

It really wasn't that good because of the food and the plumbing was horrible. They do a covid test when you go in and then I heard someone actually came out with covid.

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT send your father, mother, son, daughter, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, cousin, aunt, uncle, granddaughter or grandson here. Basically send NOBODY here. This place is beyond unprofessional and is about receiving a payment rather than truly caring for the patients. My son is currently here and I wish to God I had read the reviews prior to him going. He went Wednesday April 6th and has been told he can leave voluntarily after 72hrs and those 72hrs has come and gone. Since going everyone said they seen improvements since he got there, yet the doctor still refuses to sign off on his release. So I’m guessing the doctor doesn’t trust the opinions of her colleagues because if he’s doing good and all the necessary things, why not release him? Oh!, you want to continue to get paid. Just like a previous review stated that their loved one came home far worse than what they went in after going to this unprofessional, don’t give a damm about the patients only a paycheck awful of a facility I fear my son will far worse than when he went as well. I’ve filed the necessary paperwork for a complaint against them and waiting to go further and hopefully shut them down. I PLEAD with any who has a loved one there, please get them out and take them somewhere else ASAP!!! Patients are supposed to get the necessary help needed and come home better, yet places like this deter many from doing so. There are good places out there, just NOT OCEANS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL OF BATON ROUGE, LA
