Do not bring your family members here. My sister is there with dementia and prior to Covid, she was left on the floor for 12 hours straight on Thanksgiving night as well as over medicated to the point that they thought she had a stroke and had to be taken for an MRI. Now, with the restrictions put in place regarding Covid-19 and visitors not being allowed at the nursing home, she has gone from 175 lbs to 113 lbs! They are starving her, she is dehydrated and they recently sent her to the doctor with the bottom of her feet black with dirt. If I could alert all of the news channels I definitely would. I am filing a complaint with the state as we speak because I haved made complaint after complaint, I have tried to bring her food to feed her outside to no avail. The staff is rude and are now screening calls and I cannot get a call back. THIS IS NEGLECT AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL!

My father has been in this place for a week now and they have done nothing at all for him. My mother has been trying to get him transferred to another facility and they don’t return calls. We have asked them repeatedly to send his physicals to the other facility so he can go to another facility, they say they will but don’t. It’s getting to be really frustrating and starting to piss us off. So please if you need some place to send a loved one DO NOT I repeat DO NOT SEND them to Carrington Place of Baton Rouge.
