There's a new driver named Joseph. He is so sweet, a real gentleman. Always on time to each stop, also apologizes to people even though he is running a little behind. He's really easy on the brakes! You have any questions... HE WILL ANSWER THEM best to his knowledge, if he doesn't know, he recommends to call the TART office. If you are concerned on getting to a transferred bus, he calls that bus immediately to let them know he has passengers! One time I was hidden behind some cars at a stop in Carnelian Bay... he saw me at the very last second. When he pulled over to the safest spot, he apologized and gave such a great deal! He said "I don't like to make people run to my bus for my mistake especially ones who were on time"... so he gave me an option of a free ride or a half off all day pass ($1.75 senior, youth, disabled discount). Like i said, a real gentleman. Always keeps a positive attitude, he asks about your day, and makes you laugh. I feel very safe being in his bus! He knows everyone's stop even when they are in a deep slumber. I hope he stays for a long time, we need good drivers like this young man! September 2020 Update: Joseph contacted me through a private message and asked me to take down this review. He expressed that he shouldn't be praised and that it takes team work at T.A.R.T. I lied to him that I'll delete this review. I don't understand why he just doesn't take the compliment of doing a great job.

We had a mishap with our car rental after getting off our train. The bus driver for the next hour was so kind and helpful to us.

Can't give zero stars. Got off the bus at 7/11 Squaw Valley to grab something from the store. Fairly standard procedure for locals to get off there and get back on across the street as it comes back out of the Valley. Communicated to the driver my intentions and that I would be getting back on to gety bike from the front rack. Driver blew right by me withy bike on the front as he came back out of the Valley. Called and asked for my bike to be delivered to the transit center and they refused. Told me I had to get up to the garage on Cabin Creek Road. Nevermind the fact the bus can no longer stop at Cabin Creek Road, and I get around by bicycle and bus so I have no way to get there. Also never mind the fact that I have seen bicycles delivered to other people, same sort of situation, at the transit center.
