Do not go to this urgent care! When I got there the receptionist was very unfriendly. I had been dealing with congestion for a few days, so they did a rapid covid test and sat me in a room for over an hour waiting on those results. The doctor that came in was very nice-nasty and sarcastic. His name started with a B. He told me I did not have covid, in which I already knew, but he completely dismissed all of the illnesses I did have that brought me into the doctor in the first place. He told me there was no medication for cough and congestion to prescribe to me. Then said my "cold" is nothing. As he walked out the door I asked again for at least a cough medicine he then said take over the counter meds and walked out. I went to a Doctors Care 5 days later and got 3 prescriptions for this same "nothing" doctor B told me I had. Overall, I've never felt so unimportant and unvalued at a doctors office before until now. That doctor did not care about my well being at all and he wasn't trying to fake like he did. I will never go back.

Dr. Borucki and the nurses/staff are so kind and caring. They stay very busy, but when they do see you you get their full care and attention. I’ve been pleased the few times I’ve been to MUSC Elgin Urgent Care.
