They should really have this open year-round (as dry camping in the off-season). It's a great spot and the trail down to the water is so nice. There's no reason to not have it available for use so much of the year.

What a magical place! Awesome little hike to the water which is so fresh and lovely. Our daughter was in love with it and we fell asleep watching the fireflies above us. Everyone was chill and calm. Definitely want to come back and spend more time.

So, I love this camp ground....but this year it's definitely lacking maintenance. The grass is overgrown and it needs some TLC. This campground is secluded and everybody very nice. I would definitely recommend it and already have reservations to go back!!!

It was neat. Tucked away down a really windy highway, you feel very secluded. The meth heads camped next to us fought quite a bit, at one point around midnight the lady ran off and the dude was running through the woods screaming for her to return. Fortunately a sherrif's deputy happened by in the middle of this. He left the meth heads behind when he drove away. So that was fun. As luck would have it, a young man and his girlfriend stopped by to chat. Nice people. He is a waiter somewhere, and she was recently released from prison after serving her sentence for attempted murder. The trail to Spring Creek is a bit slick if it has rained recently, but its worth the short hike. Strikingly beautiful water. Great little campground.
