Exciting day. Great time with my guys. Awesome staff. Range masters are super helpful and so are the staff in the store. Can't wait to get back.

Honestly, it doesn't get any friendlier than here. Everyone is so dedicated to making you feel welcome. From the moment you drive up to check in, you're greeted with care. The range itself is super fun. There are so many great options. All around the best time you're going to have at an outdoor range. If any of the guys who helped me with some car troubles see this, shoutout to you guys as well!

Staff is very courteous. Range Officers are outstanding. Grounds and ranges are well kept. Heads up for first timers, you are outside, dress appropriately. If there has been some weather it can get sloggy hanging targets or putting things in the pit. Pack a cooler and several hundred rounds and have a great day at this place.

Best range I've found in Illinois, hands down. Well worth the 90 minute drive. Price is reasonable, range officers are pleasant and helpful, staff is down to earth. The Pit is what's up!!!

My Lodge has a range day every year, we have shooters as young as 6 WITH COMPETENT ADULT SUPERVISION. It's good to start them young, as long as you start them safely.
Yeah, and you are going to have a great time. Just bring your Foid card.
I’m Hispanic and I’ve gone plenty of times with my family have never experienced anything less than great staff

Yes with a valid ID
If you’re bringing large targets, I would visit the range, at least once, before bringing them out. The path to the target area isn’t smooth or level. You may have a hard time, getting large or heavy items, into the target area. Every so often, they do call for a “cold line”, to let people place targets out there, but it’s usually only about 5-10 minutes. People want to shoot, not wait for targets to be set up. I agree with the other commenter, who said that you may have to set large stuff up, early in the day. Don’t bring any hazardous targets, though. No glass, car batteries, etc.
No metal, hanging targets, glass, aerosols, explosive, or incendiary targets. As of right now, Memorial Day hours are regular business hours 9-5, there is a 21 gun salute scheduled but no time announced yet.
Yes, standard Illinois laws apply. You have to be a FOID holder. She does not

Yes you can. They have a pretty good selection.
You need to be with a person with a FOID card or you need one for yourself.
Someone needs foid card but I know my son was under 18 was able to shoot unless they changed the rules
They only have One handgun range, 2 rifle ranges, 50 yrd and 100, then you can shoot anything in the plinking pit
