My Lodge has a range day every year, we have shooters as young as 6 WITH COMPETENT ADULT SUPERVISION. It's good to start them young, as long as you start them safely.

The range is very family-friendly, make sure to go over the basic firearm safety and range rules before hand.
I can't remember if there is a age requirements, I did take my son when he was 11 or 12.
No age restriction as long as they can handle the firearm they can shoot.
