If you’re bringing large targets, I would visit the range, at least once, before bringing them out. The path to the target area isn’t smooth or level. You may have a hard time, getting large or heavy items, into the target area. Every so often, they do call for a “cold line”, to let people place targets out there, but it’s usually only about 5-10 minutes. People want to shoot, not wait for targets to be set up. I agree with the other commenter, who said that you may have to set large stuff up, early in the day. Don’t bring any hazardous targets, though. No glass, car batteries, etc.
You can get there at any time to take small items to the pit. Larger items should be dropped off before the range opens and may require Shooting Park approval.
