Goosewing beach is perhaps the best barrier beach on eastern USA. Parking is limited. During the summer plan to arrive before 9AM or after 3PM

Dogs arent allowed on the beach while the beach is open. Closes at 5 pm
The beach "officially" closes on labor day. However, the beach remains open. After labor day there is no longer a fee for those who had to pay previously. Downside you swim at your own risk as life guards are no longer on the beach, in addition no dumpster for trash. This time of year finds the parking lot full especially w/the warm temperatures that September brings. This past week has attracted large amounts of surfers w/all the storms & tide surges but also tremendous rip currents & strong undertow. Now ideal swimming conditions for the inexperienced/weak swimmer. The parking lot has also decreased in size due to the recent hurricanes/high tides which completely covered the parking lot. Enjoy the beach days while you can!
They allow Massachusetts residents now. I've been twice. I do go early though.

It's $15 Monday through Friday and not sure what the weekend rate is.. haven't been on the weekend this year... I'm assuming it's probably 17 or $18 on the weekend. BTW... the parking lot there is very very very small they do turn away people on busy days I usually get there at 8:30 a.m. just for that reason. There's nowhere to park once you get turned away there's no street parking anywhere in the entire town..
I am pretty sure they do not have EV chargers there. I have seen one at Colt state park in Bristol
Most of the people who go to that beach live near by or summer rentals. On the weekends it gets packed faster then on the week days , but if you want to get a good parking i sudjest you make it there by 9:00 a.m. i went there and by 10:00 a.m it was packed and a long line of cars waiting to get in. There is a few ice cream shops on the way.... they sell ice cream and hot dogs chips.... popcicles ice cream sandwiches etc

Yes is open. The best thing to do is get there super early. Around 8 AM. If parking gets full, they close. Just 100 people at the time and 20 local.

I guess you can. Why not? Pick a quiet time like early evening because it gets pretty busy or walk closer to the poinr. That would be my choice.

Ive been there for 7am once and they charged at 7am to 4pm which they stop charging . And yes 15 or 20.00 to get in depending on if its a holiday. Fires you could do but you'll need a permit which is $14 you could get it from there about 12noon i forget cut off time for that its probably by 2pm or so but then you'll have to return it after 11pm at the fire station. If you live R.I you could get permit sooner before 12noon.
