We had the pleasure of staying here this past weekend. The new owners were great and made us feel right at home. It is such a beautiful, historic place with some great views of the lake. It was the perfect place for us to unwind. The breakfast the next morning was excellent! We are looking forward to heading back some time.

Although necessary precautions were taken due to the trying times, we still had a wonderful stay. The seclusion and roominess in the Lakeside Suite are well worth the cost (We were upgraded at no additional price increase). The view at dusk of the lake and wildlife (most notably the 13 deer that grazed within feet of our deck) was the epitome of quiet, secluded peacefulness. This stay replaced a Covid-cancelled 25th anniversary celebration in the Bahamas and didn't disappoint. Kudos to the Innkeeper...well done!!!

It was a Dream! And as someone else said about the bed being the most comfortable bed ever..I agree 100%..and the excellent quality sheets! So good I had to look who made them and ordered a set for our home!🙂 Incredibly relaxing, clean, truly First Class on every level and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Book your room now!

We had an amazing time there, we came for a quick girls get away. Everything was spotless and decorated perfect. The home is magnificent and passed our expectations. Sherry and her husband have done a tremendous job. The home has been meticulously cared for and the decor and "upgrades" have been painstakingly been kept apropos with the time period and construction of the house in the 1820's. Amazing.. They were the most gracious hosts. Not one thing I would change.
