Very highly recommended. It is out in the boonies somewhat so nearby entertainment options are limited. Still, there are several parks around and wineries to enjoy. But be prepared to drive a ways (45 min+). The castle itself also has a lot of fun extras such as a giant jenga game using swords to push, lemonaid/tea and various dessert/snack options, soft drinks in the fridge (which you can also use), coffee/tea, an extensive movie collection, pretty good wifi, and other amenities that are unexpected. There are several nice trails including a very pretty lake area that is fun to explore. Hosts are very nice. Breakfast was excellent and they make plenty of extras so you can have seconds to ensure you are stuffed!

The hosts were very attentive and kind. I am gluten free and they made an array of baked goods for me and sent them home with me too. The breakfast is outstanding and creative! Getting to dress up and take photos all around the castle was fun. The time, attention to detail and love these two put into building this place is all around. It was a 2 night girls trip and we highly recommend!!

My mother and I spent a night in the Fairy Tale room with my niece for her 6th birthday. She said it was "the best birthday ever". Lady Josephine officially crowned her as a princess! Lord Douglas showed us around and welcomed us to the castle. We found some lovely dresses to wear and books in the library. The Lord and Lady were so hospitable: from a castle-shaped cake, to hot wassell, popcorn and movies, play area, etc. The bathroom floor was heated (!!) and the bed was super comfy. And the breakfast…the food was soooo good!! My only regret was that I got too full to finish! They accommodate dietary restrictions. We will definitely be back! While it was nice to sip my tea and watch the snow while a fire crackled in the hall, there are outdoor activities that we want to try. Thank you for a great time!

You can go on Facebook I believe and you'll find out about them and there should be an email address or phone number where you can call them. My daughter has their email address cuz she's the one who communicates with them all the time so I don't have it to give to you this time. Try Googling it you might be better off that way. I wish we could communicate with each other because I can help you that way. But do Google them as I know you can find them on Google. It's a wonderful place the castle is awesome
