My partner and I discovered Brightwood Inn accidentally and we couldn’t have been happier. It’s an idyllic getaway with everything you need. Our room was spacious with jacuzzi and cozy sitting area outside. The property is located in the vicinity of Matthiessen & Starved Rock State Parks. It is such a beautiful place that is taken care of by thoughtful and friendly people. We had amazing time talking to Sharon and Kevin and we wish them to thrive and let this property be discovered by a countless number of people in the future. Thank you for you.

It is very close the Starved Rock. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. We loved our stay here. Staff was very lovely and helpful. I love the fact that they have pet friendly rooms. We had a great time and will definitely come back here next time.

The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast and the service was fantastic. The owners were very personable. It was a convenient place to stay if you wanted to hit the area state parks for hiking. It also is not far for other small communities which allows for more eating options for people with food allergies.

Coming here and staying here was the best decision I have ever made. The people here are so friendly and welcoming, they treated us like family. Having that personal connection with them and great conversations is rememberable. I would definitely be coming here again. the maze in the back is so peaceful as you walk through it. Outside seating and just enjoying the scenery, amazing. The room we stayed in was nice and cozy. The breakfast was amazing. The owners of this place should be proud that they have created such a welcoming environment and some place you could go to and relax. I love the movies the have. The sitting area is so cute. If you have a chance to stay here take advantage of everything they have to offer. Great distance from the park and everything else around.
