Roxy is a beautiful little chihuahua terrier. She was a rescue at 3 months old. I remember that day 12 years ago. She is my best friend. She has taught me loyalty, love, patience and kindness. Chambersburg Animal Hospital staff are amazing. We all know they are worked long hours and with high demand. Despite being human… they hide any stress they have and only show love as a public face. I will give my Roxy up to God eventually. But for close to end of life care with a serious heart valve problem- in conjunction with CVCA (Cumberland valley cardiac out of Frederick)- my best friend is alive. She is in no pain or distress. We are grateful for any day without suffering. Her friendship to me is deep and real. My wife and I adore her. I could not ask for more human caring. Thank you and God bless you all. My regular vet office told me I had to wait a month and a half to be seen for a sick dog/dying dog. Chambersburg Animal hospital got me in next day to be seen ( I called late in the day). The doctor was super patient gave us options. Went home and the dog took a turn for the worse. I texted them about getting another appointment first thing in the morning and they fit her back into the schedule. So 2 days in a row I was able to get an appointment to be seen. They came in and went over the process and then the doctor came in and went over the process and what to expect. They were so caring and compassionate. They put us in a room immediately when we walked in. Hands down the greatest vets office we have visited. I highly recommend them.
