Sit means Sit has been excellent for my dog. I was hesitant about using the e-collar but the trainers put my mind at ease and I feel confident that I chose the best method of training for my dog. We have worked with many different trainers - Sarah S, Courtnie, Tyler and Alex - and each one has been excellent and shown me effective ways to work with Finn. I have had times when training wasn’t going well and Sit Means Sit brought Finn back in for a half day training session. They are also coming to my home to do an In-home training session. The trainers are all very confident and encouraging. I am happy that I chose Sit Means Sit to train Finn. I already see a huge improvement in my dog’s behavior.

There are not enough positive words for the staff at Sit Means Sit Bel Air. From the first consultation with Sarah and Tori, I knew we had found the place that would have compassion for our training challenges with our 5 month old stubborn and eager puppy, Trekks. In his four private all-day sessions (which I affectionately call summer school), Tyler (our primary trainer) laid the foundation for us to build upon. Tyler is incredible! He has a quiet confidence when handling your dog that commands their respect. He was patient when teaching us how to properly handle our dog. You can tell how much energy and passion he has for training dogs. Trekks now has the skills to understand what is expected of him inside the home. Outside of the home was a different story for an excited young puppy. When we brought it to their attention they immediately fit us into the schedule to bring him in for a 5th summer school class. They preach lifelong commitment to your dog’s training and although it was just a few weeks later they were there for us. We took him to one group class led by Sarah, who is also incredible, and by the end of it he was doing well. I was shocked by his progress in just and hour with so many people and other dogs (he loves them both). We look forward to continuing to attend group class. Trekks & our family have a lot of work to do to obtain the high level of obedience we are looking for, but we cannot thank Tyler and the rest of the crew enough for their commitment and energy to his training. Special shout out to Sarah, Jalyn, and Anita for extra reassurance during the process.

My American Bulldog puppy, Kyra was given the best care during her training sessions at Sit Means Sit, Bel Air. The staff was incredibly patient, kind and professional. I would particularly like to thank Anita, Tyler, Sara and Jaylin for all their hard work and encouragement. Thank all you so much!!

I took my Labrador Retriever Puppy to both the Puppy Classes and then Master Classes (four full day classes)- we started with Tyler who gave us the foundations and taught both my dog and me how to start communicating. His enthusiasm and patience set my dog on the right path! Then for three full day classes and the exam we had Courtnie who came down temporarily to the Bel Air location, and she was such a pleasure to work with, I cannot thank her enough! She got “wild man” of a puppy to listen, taught me how to be more firm with him, and really gave amazing tips overall to continue his training at home! Thank you both to these amazing trainers, and of course a special mention to Anita the local manager who did the consultation with us and then continued to check in on my dog’s progress.
