I’ve been trying for months to get my senior cosmetology license no one ever answers the phone no matter how many times i call in a day I’ve been leaving messages for months and have never received a call back this is so sad that our tax dollars and licensing go to these employees who don’t want to preform their assigned duties

The staff are very unprofessional. You can call them and leave voice messages every day and they’ll never return your call as they’re supposed to. One time they actually called me back, after weeks of me trying to reach out to them. They sounded annoyed and irritated just from doing their jobs. The level of incompetence does not really bother me. But the condescending attitude really caught me off guard. I was awed by such behaviors.

Worst of the worst barber board. Read all reviews and everyone is correct. U can call, and email still doesn’t help. I just want to transfer my licenses to Maryland from Florida. Their rude and unprofessional, unfriendly and give different information each time. Don’t even waste your time. I’ll just transfer to my licenses to another area like DC, or Virginia.

Starting 10/1/18, CE will be required.
No, you cannot perform any of those services after ONE class. You need 600 hours in class or 1 year apprenticeship at a salon, PLUS apply for and pass the state board exams. For lash extension, there are stand alone classes and that might be different requirements for that.

No. You have to submit the change to to the board and provide proof of the change.
They can't. They have to also hold a Master Barber license.
