Hi Ken I visited your store in Kissimmee, fl and asked to match the price of a black stone grill to lowes who is across the streets advertised price of $449 vs ur $499 price. Based on my assumption of your huge sign on the window lowest prices in Florida GUARANTEED. I was informed that because it’s on sale right now at lowes and it’s not their retail price they won’t price match. I asked to speak to a manager and Wanda (whole did not have a good attitude about it all, with a smug look on her face as if I was bothering her and she had better things to do) said we can’t do that sorry. I asked based on ur huge sign out front, it’s not correct that ur the lowest price in Florida because I can buy it brand new across the street for less. She said well, I can’t do it. I don’t understand why you would say ur the lowest prices in Florida if your not. It’s false advertising, why should I shop here vs another retailer, maybe they will have the item on sale and if your not willing to match price on something on sale. That’s pretty pour business sir. My wife is a district manager for Home Depot, I don’t want to make a purchase at lowes, it’s bad juju and Home Depot does not sell this specific grill. I truely hope your company reconsiders your slogan lowest prices guaranteed when in fact that is not true. Not only am I buying the grill. But all the accessories that come along with a flat top grill and a cover. You lose a few dollars or break even on the grill which is what we both know a key item to get people to buy the stuff that actually has profit built into it. All the accessories. I use to have a lot of faith in Academy sports, not so much anymore. I will be expressing my opinion online socially and through my YouTube channel about this experience.
