This shelter is terrible. For one it looks as if it hasn't had a proper professional cleaning since the day of its opening. The food isnt cooked throughly, and the shower water has a smell/color to it. The staff is very rude, mean, bias and you can tell they're only there to get paid. I was waiting to be checked in for five/six hours and the security guard lady wouldnt even allow me to charge my phone. The staff looks down on us.. even the sober ones whose never used drugs get treated like second class citizens in this facility. On top of there not being cameras in the dorms so your belongings will more then likely be stolen within your first hours of being admitted. This shelter needs to be shut down immediately or needs to be supervised by professionals/ county representatives because there is a plethora of problems that won't be fixed unless the state/county representatives step in. I rather continue to sleep outside then to be subjugated to being treated like a second class citizen because I'm going through hard times. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This shelter is a useful place for men experiencing delays getting their Section 8 housing voucher. However, speaking as a critic of Maryland M.T.A.'s disability access policies, it is not excusable for there to be no bus transit options here. We are now being asked to pay to get our own COVID tests performed. Note: Although this shelter is on separate grounds than the Spring Grove Hospital Center, the Baltimore County Government mistakenly placed this building on the confusing-to-navigate roads of that hospital grounds. It is to your advantage to learn why the government should be prevented from running psychological experiments.

Yes two people from the same house hold you can stay there you'll have to be your own person but they won't turn you away and like the gentleman said as long as everything's registered with the van you can park it there but you much sleep in the facility and registered that you're on the premises but you need a referral first go there will help you the great and they will walk you through. I also had a car there and I would leave to go to work everyday and if you can get back by dinner you can eat dinner in the evening for you fend for yourself like I did cuz I was working...lol.. great place how is there less than a month and back out on my own and into an affordable apartment they will help you find the right spot for your budget enough said good luck to you have a great one.....
U have to call Baltimore co DSS everyday at 8:30am to see if a bed is open. It could take a day or 2 or a week maybe tops.

No, but you have to be able to take care of your own personal needs (showering, using the bathroom, feed yourself) so if you have a wheelchair or cane, that's fine.

You have to get a papers from social services then come up here anytime before 8pm. The 76 brings you closer but you can also catch the purple.
You can stay there while you work. They also help with the security and first month rent.its a 90 day program. You also must call Baltimore county social services for a referral to be considered for your bed
