Breakfast is a diner staple and even with the new, pared down menu, Johnny's doesn't disappoint. My companion had the 'hot mama' omelet which he deemed to be almost too spicy! Served with scrambled eggs, home fries, sourdough toast, and coffee, it was filling enough to keep him going until dinner. I opted for the honey cornbread waffle with cinnamon butter, a side order of bacon, and coffee. The waffle, a thick, Belgian style, was pure heaven. It was crispy on the outside, yet had the consistency of cornbread as well. Honey in the batter, combined with the cinnamon butter added just the right sweet and savory touch. If the bacon hadn't been overdone, this would have gotten 5 stars.

Food was great and staff was super friendly. Stopped in for lunch while on the road for work and was in and out in less than thirty mins

Amazing food and the service is great. Only one time have I been dissatisfied here and that is when I had a server who offered real maple syrup but did not tell me it was an upcharge. When asked all she said was "ya it's an upcharge." Luckily I had been before and knew this was a solitary incident because if I hadn't they would of lost a customer that day.
