You should expect a total body workout that focuses on your core strength while working your other muscles. Pilates will lengthen and tone your muscles, increase flexibility, teach symmetrical body movement with balanced muscular strength, and benefit those with back problems and joint issues. Pilates will improve balance and body awareness. It is also particularly helpful for pregnancy.
Pilates is especially beneficial for individuals with back problems, joint issues, equestrians, post partum. It enhances other exercise and sports - such as cardio, running, tennis, golf, etc.
Pilates can be enjoyed and benefit any person’s fitness level.
Pilates can be taken as often you want but ideally we suggest at least twice a week.
Almost everyone can do Pilates. For some we will make accommodations depending on physical limitations.
