This is simply the best hotel in Santa Monica. The service from the booking process to checking out is exemplary. This was my tenth visit to the hotel since it opened. Ramon at check in was so friendly and helpful - he wrote a list of cafes and restaurants to visit and told me about a local band that was playing at the hotel one evening that week. The hotel also offers free bikes and you can book them out for half a day - there is a cycle path along the coast which is beautiful. Another person who provided excellent service was Tony on the bell desk - he is very friendly and helpful. Jesse is also another excellent employee who is a credit to the hotel and he helped me with my reservation prior to arrival. The rooms are spacious and have stylish wooden floors and the balcony is just the right size to sit out and eat dinner on whilst watching the sunset. The pool area is clean and never too busy and the hot tub is a welcome addition after a day of cycling! The hotel is in an ideal location - 5 minutes from the pier and 5 minutes from the Third Street Promenade with a range of restaurants and cafes. Thank you again for another outstanding stay!

First of all, the staff is top notch. Jesse and his team are friendly and generous. They go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The products that are provided are high quality and refreshing. The location couldn’t be better, you have everything you need within 5 minutes of walking. I love how close we are to the pier, and the ocean views are stunning. I would not stay anywhere else, no other hotels in the area compare to Shore Hotel.

This was definitely a five-star hotel. A Room With a View to the ocean, and the Amusement park rides. It's in a great location closest to stores, food restaurants, and bars if that's your thing. I highly recommend you visit the Shore Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. I really enjoyed the workout room (gym) myself. Our rooms had a refrigerator with the alcohol of your choice and a mini snack bar, more for the kids I think. I will return for another visit, thank you Shore Hotel for the pleasant experience !!!

I have so many good things to say about Shore. It’s a beautiful hotel, smells great, and staff are friendly, happy, and helpful. Parking is easy and a great value (has in and out privileges). Hotel feels safe, and location is prime. You’re across the pier and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and obviously the beach. I love the bike rental they provide, that made our Santa Monica visit so much better and I would stay here again because of their easy to use bikes and the location!! The room is modern, spacious, and beautiful. They’re not your tacky cookie cutter large chain hotel rooms with the outdated carpets. (We didn’t utilize the pool or other amenities but they looked great!) We are 100% starting here again when we return to Santa Monica.
