We unfortunately will not be staying at the Tides. After finally finding someone to talk with we found that the hotel has been sold and will be closed in October. I sure am glad I wanted to check on something at the property otherwise we would have arrived to find the property shuttered. We have scrambled and found another property that will accommodate our October visit, I wish the new owners success but I dont think they have treated the customers that they did have with any respect.

Loved the stay here! The rooms are locked by code so we were a little confused at first since there’s really no front office but figured it out through the confirmation email. This place was like a little condo - living room with fireplace (cracked front glass) couch and chairs, kitchen with table and appliances, bedroom (with a door out), and bathroom with, oddly enough, another microwave and mini fridge. The tidal pools on the beach here were full of life - which was one of my deciding factors when booking. The room was clean and warm. Unfortunately, all of my pictures of the room are on my Canon camera so I may update this review at a later time.

What a SCORE!!! With one day notice we booked a Mini Suite at the Tides for a short getaway with our 2 year old doggie during the September heat wave. The only way to be closer to the water would be camping on the sand which isn't an option. We slept with the windows open and listened to the waves hit the shore with the sea lions barking a few hundred yards away. The space was comfortable and clean and Rich, our host, was fantastic in his communication with us. We will be back for sure.

Relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful location. The room was clean and neat. Management was quick with responding to texts. I will definitely come back.
