It was a positive experience overall. The nurses and doctors were amazing and super efficient from the beginning to the end. It seems well-run and organized once you get called inside for prep. However, I was told to come in at 7:30am, but wasn't called up to register until after 8am and didn't go in until around 8:30am. This was an issue for us because we brought our dogs with us in the car and had to leave them there for a long time. If we would have known beforehand we would have put them in daycare for the day. Be prepared to wait a while once you get there. I also had a weird experience with billing. They had me pay about 1k upfront even though I have a pretty good PPO. I've never had to pay such a high amount for any procedure. I think they used the deductible for out-of-network, which would then make sense. The issue is that this is very much in-network for the plan. Will see once I call the insurance company. Probably best to call your insurance ahead of time and try to work out the costs before you come in.

My child had a recent surgery at Blue Ridge. They took excellent care of her and me. Their communication was excellent before, during, & after the procedure. They made sure she was comfortable and helped calm her fears about her surgery. Everyone was so kind.

Very disappointed in the billing. Charged max amount before surgery. Took two weeks of leaving emails and messages to get updated status on refunding my deductible. Wasn’t refunded my full deductible. Charged 1/12/22. Refund not submitted for approval until February 28. Told me not to expect it to reflect in my account until March 28. Completely unacceptable.

My son that is 16 months old was scheduled by his ENT to use this facility to have his tubes in. We had a pre op appointment with his ENT were we paid 461 dollars on Jan. 3 with an appointment at this facility on January 11. We were called 18 hrs. Before surgery to let us know what time to be at the facility and that we would need to have a payment of 1100 dollars ready when we arrived. I was not really happy to get this news 18 hrs before the procedure is to be performed. Spoke with the billing office around 2 pm on January 10 and hashed out payments to pay 1100 dollars. Once we arrive and get checked in mind you at 6 am with a 16 month old that has not had anything to eat or drink sense 8 pm the night before. We get checked in and we are told that we now 1750 dollars. How is this possible after I talked with your billing dept not 18 hrs ago. Frustrated is not even the word. It just makes no sense and there excuse is that they don’t see were we paid the ENT already. ENT was paid out of a HSA account and I showed a digital copy of the account where it was drafted out of the account. This was not good enough they needed a paper copy. In this age of everyone going virtual. Then the comment made is they have projected what the cost is and they have not ran the insurance yet and we would get a refund if we over pay. Who knows how long that will take. So basically you just told me you guessed what it would cost to perform the procedure and guessing what the insurance will cover. This is not how you run a business. Needless to say I am not very happy and we will not being using this place every again and will not recommend it to anyone we know. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
