IDme doesn't work, filing a claim online doesn't work, calling in doesn't work, NV won't let me get unemployment

They never answer always say high volume of calls. You can never get through. It's like why have a number for if they never answer..

Lena was horrible to me on the phone. She raised her voice at me directly after another phone call where a lady hung up on me. I was simply asking these women for clarity and they responded with frustration and anger, eventually hanging up on me. So unprofessional

So true!
I starting to really believe that thes people leave the phones off the hook. Their at home and dont want to be bothered while getting paid at the same time.
I Cant get through and website for jobs that is mandatory to fill out won't let me proceed. Been trying four nights! Im going down there. No one answers the phone or it disconnects. Just going to go down there and show them I cannot complete registering. Beyond frustrated.
I was told by a rep today that "yesterday the air conditioning in the building stopped working, so we had to close early. All the calls in the state were being routed to the north office," so they couldn't handle the call volume. That doesn't sound at all like it's my problem!!!
So every body is on the same page, what does this say about our country, and the people we put in position and trust, the faith for our country strong in my heart, time to step back and check it out.
Its faster to apply online. It only takes me 5min.
Because the state is losing funds and cant afford proper staffing. NV isn't bringing in enough revenue to meet demand.
I filed my claim in April and I am still waiting. My claim status is open and also states pending resolution. So, I continued to call everyday (50-150 times) for the past two weeks and only today with some luck I was able to get in for a call back. I was excited until they called back to only tell me I have to wait for a letter via email or in the mail with a date and time slot to be available for Detr to call. I was very upset. I wasted so much time trying to get through the phone lines for call rep to tell me I have to wait longer...that is "bull****". Rep stated she has to annote she advised me about waiting for the letter as well as to keep filing weekly. That's all she could do, and would not be able to answer any questions about my pending claim. Phone contact was a waist of time.
Same here, I was asked for verification 3/28/2021 to continue to weekly claim. They received my uploads and said I would get a video call in more than 5 hours. That was two days ago. So now I can't get in to even file my weekly claim. This is affecting too many ppl and Gov Sisolak needs to address this Now.
It depends on what day you call also Chris.. Monday and Friday is suicide.. not even the President can get through. But I get through either between 9-12 am or 1-3 pm on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.. those are my lucky hours and days..
ID.me has partnered with the state of Nevada's Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation (DETR) to help verify your identity for a new claim for unemployment insurance (UI). To verify your identity if you have a new or existing UI claim: You should have received a message from DETR directing you to a URL to verify your identity with ID.me. You will be redirected to the ID.me sign-in page, where you can sign in to your existing ID.me account, or create a new one. Confirm your email address. Select and/or set up a multi-factor authentication option. Then, verify your identity by selecting either Upload a photo of your driver's license or state ID, Upload a photo of your passport, or Upload a photo of your passport card. When prompted, take and submit a selfie. Enter all other requested information, including your Social Security number. At the end of the process, be sure to click Allow and continue. This step shares your identity information with the DETR and enable
They cut the budget for Nevada. A lot of Departments are undertstaffed and some local services have been eliminating past benefits.
Im not Understanding why it is taking so long to get my unemployment it feels like there having to take it out of there own pocket or is that were it went to begin with?
Never gave me a problem... of course I also tried and after 10 min on hold didn't get angry... like my buddy got Hella mad because on hold for longer then 10 min... but had no problem at waking up at 3 pm and trying one time getting angery and hanging up.
Dial 82 instead of 81 at the end of the 800# oh good luck cause I've had none.
It helps
I've read they're way behind in their processing of apps. However once processed, applicants receive back pay from day of application to closure date.

I have appealed my case four different times I filed since the pandemic started and finally they're telling me everything is in order but that's been over 2 months ago I was supposed to be waiting on my appeal hearing but they keep telling me the same thing they're telling you email in my message box
I don't think they are going to open until COVID-19 is completely gone. Because I can imagine the line there after they shut off everyone from Benefits starting in September.
Call the new way2gocard you can access the info online and get a new one issued to you directly from them do not wait for detr to help you you will wait forever . blessings hope this helps .
I haven't been in this office.
Yes it is go early
You have to be getting unemployment from your employer who laid you off because of covid
Yes wear a mask
Have not been here before
If you forgot to file and have not found employment yet that means you have to reopen your claim again.
They only have an Internet issue address,or the appeals office address, other than that, they are ghosts.
No not yet, I went by yesterday
On the bottom of the Claim Confirmation the site asks if you have any past weeks to file .
Even me got nothing rock the boat 4 mos no work god hear my prayer
It wasn't open this week
On line
I found the best way to communicate with them was through email,at least they answered my questions and were able to help me that way
I used to work there. If your having troubles I'd go inside and let them know you need to speak to unemployment they can possibly help.
If you want to talk to a representative about your Claim on the phone it's much quicker then using your own phone. When I went there I only waited 15 minutes and the lady phone open up my Claim . If I were you I would go to the office. Good luck
It's best that you go down to use the phones they have at the office then calling them on your phone at home. This is what a gentleman at the front desk at Unemployment office told me
It depends. You will have to check with unemployment. If you are going to an actual school for training, then there are things in place where your job search will be waived for the duration of training.
Keep checking your card. It will show up after 2-3 weeks
Monday and Tuesday
