they no longer help w cards and when they did the lady was very stingy with them like she bought them herself!!! and only gave u two to three your lucky enough to get one!

Try applying for CHAP which will pay your rent for a month, if you are qualified. it takes months but your landlord is less likely to evict you if you have applied.

They used to give vouchers for Kmart & JC Penneys so you could get work clothes. I haven't been there in a while so ask them. They will help you. You have to have an "intend to hire" from the business that is going to hire you. Don't be afraid to ask your future employer for it. They are familiar with Job Connects requirements and have done it before!

Health card, Alcohol Awareness and Sheriffs Card if you have a Letter of Intent to Hire. They do not help with Guard Cards, but Salvation Army can help with the Guard Card if they have funding

Once u walk in, u check in with the person up front, let them know the reason for your visit, they ask for your ssn and pic id, your then given a half piece of paper and a #, fill it out, return it back to the person, then your asked to be seated until your # is called. Your wait really isn't that long.
