I've been on the housing waiting list since 2018 been working since before then, still working to this day. Had my appointment with a worker my file was completed and then my status went to issued/offer, been waiting over 3 months for a place AND STILL NOTHING had to basically reapply so now I'm waiting to see if I'm over incomed lol I swear y'all will help people who are capable of working but don't want to because they do use of the satae taken care of them! But us working people who really could use the break in rent we cant even get that because y'all don't wanna move!!!! This is irritating and I'm bout ready to just let this housing go and continue to pay regular rent because it doesn't seem like I'll be getting a place anytime soon

I have never been more ashamed to live in Nevada. Unfortunately my pay went down and with Nevada allowing landlords to run free my rent went up 3 times this year so i applied for assistance and qualified so i put my name on the waiting lists of some of their properties when i applied in june i was like 4977 on the lists i have checked over last 4 months and somehow i am now 7000 on the waiting list how did i go up cant get a straight answer from the clowns running the circus.

I thought Minnesota had. Bad agents, but they're Elite compared to the caps lock, one sentence unclear messages I'm getting from my new case worker. I can't understand a thing she's sending me.

Rent for a one bedroom can vary depending on area and the property unit.
Is their a waiting list for senior in disabled
I'm looking for a 2 bedroom
How munch will I pay being on a fixed income
Yes, they have connections with free lawyers that specializes in cases like this..
The social security office is one way to help with your child's disability. Out here, unless you're a victim of domestic violence or was in the military, there's no open section 8 wait lists. At times it may open up for persons with disabilities but I think it applies to head of household.
I am not sure about nevada .. I think its different possibly in each state .. I think after 5 years they cant do that because of normal wear n tear
Yes
Yes for public housing and conventional housing go on our website and get the application snvrha. org
Yes
Request to Port out to your caseworker
Your race has nothing to do with that and if your home is not hygienic, they can report that and may affect your inspection.
We go back 5 yrs so if its over 5 yrs ago you will be ok
Yes
Depends on where you live
Put in a change form if your on the wait list @ the Flamingo office
Write a letter be sure to include the client's first and last name or address if you it put in attention Fraud Investigator
You could call the Housing Authority, that would be the best way as there is an option to report fraud.
They are not accepting applications for section 8 for another 2 to 3 yrs
SORRY IDK ANYTHING ABOUT HOUSING
Somebody told you wrong
Pkwy at Silverado Ranch is nice but more so southeast
A two bedroom voucher is $1153 but the rent to owner amount can be lower or higher depending on income.
It all depends on the area and the property unit. It can be from $595-1200
I have HUD will I be able to transfer to Nevada for 3 bedroom by November 2021?
You have to let your case worker in Los Angeles know then they will start the process

The reason I asked. Is I am in a wheelchair and I live in a non ADA complaint apartment. I have my feancey living with me in the apartment. I can't reach the bottom shelf of the cabinets. I have trouble with the stove and I can't use the oven. There isn't a lot that I can do if I ever need to do anything in the kitchen. If my feancey should get sick and be away from the apartment and I'm alone. I can't even try to get something down from the cabinets. Do to not having the ability to stand up with help of holding on to the counter or wheelchair. I have CP MS diabetes and a traumatic brain injury. The bathroom is not very wheelchair friendly. The toilet is too low to the floor. It's hard to use the shower with the transfer shower chair. My feancey has put the shower chair in out of the tub for me. That's why I should be on the property list. Don't you think so.
You might wanna speak to the City council men or attenda town hall meeting , write a letter to HUD asking them to increase the payment standards on the vouchers . Las Vegas is considered a transitional state so that's why prices are going up
340 N 11th Street lv nv 89101 be there by 8:30 am please if late you will be rescheduled
No. All depts are now open Monday Thursday.
The 1 bedroom voucher is 846
You can't break your lease you have to ask them if you can get out of the lease
You'd talk with your current case worker and fill out a form
You can come into the office and pick up a landlord listing.
Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority
You can apply online at www.snvrha.org There is waiting list that can take up to 3 yrs + but sometimes they get funding for special programs and you may be place on top of the list. So apply promptly. The shutdown would not affect you applying and getting on the waiting list.
It all depends on where you want to live. Different areas and properties have different rent amounts
Do u have any one bedroom on the far south far south
There is no application ..they issue out a number you have to call but right now section 8 is not open the list has been closed for 10 yrs ... unknown when it will re open
The person on housing Will get an eviction. And be banned for a specific amount of months or years.
The same day it passes the inspection
How long did it take you to get the letter back after applying
The voucher is $1,530 but the portion you'd pay is based on your income. If the house or apt, which you find, passes a rent reasonableness test, you can afford it. A three bedroom varies by area and it depends on the owner or property management how much they charge.
hi i read you were looking for low housing in n las vegas I have a room private bath and shared housing for 750. mo all utilities nice place pictures on facebook or text me for more photots
Go apply see if your eligible
Who is this and stop teasing me and I'm a kid 😕😕😕😕but this is not my phone
Our housing list is currently closed at this time
You have 60 days to find a place 90 days if your disabled ...then you will have the landlord fill out the RFTA then you make an appointment with your case worker once thats done then they will schedule you an inspection which can take 7 to 10 days once the inspection pass you can move in
No they don't leave that fast and they would leave a sign on the door that says they were there if you missed them
Make sure to check the property for any damages and change the locks to the apartment/house.
One bedroom is 843.00
Landlord has to sign one
There is alot of senior living properties available. Look for "senior living"
not sec 8
