Positives and negatives at Court Senior Apartments, as with anyplace you live there are always both. Let's start with the good stuff. The premises are well kept, maintained, and clean. Management, for the most part is receptive to the tenant's needs as well as they can be, given the size of on-site staff, up to the time we moved out. The rent is above average, as is every other place in the area, for different reasons. Be mindful of the add-ons, as they can really effect your end rent total. Maintenance is awesome considering the size of the property, and the number of maintenance personnel. In our particular case, we have never had an issue with them, ever. Pool and recreation areas are decent and management does their best to keep the area clean. A pet peeve of mine is water pressure.. our particular building had awesome water pressure!! Now, some not so good stuff. Note: our apartment was as close to the front entrance gate for motor vehicle and foot traffic as one can possibly be, so, what we consider a problem won't be applicable to the entire property. Security. A gated community does not mean Fort Knox, but, non residents and homeless people seem to be roaming around on property at will, mostly in the summer, and since I walked my dog early in the morning and late at night, I frequently bumped into them, sometimes in cramped walkways (behind the pool area) to the point of having to take steps to further protect myself. Catalytic converter theft was an out of control problem while we lived there. A simple phonecall to the manager can probably give you current status. NOTE- emergency services to the property are prompt when requested. I was impressed!! The fire alarm was an ongoing problem the entire length of our residency.. This is no ordinary fire alarm, it's a high decibel horn mounted in your wall, and if it goes off, there's no way you can miss it. Trouble was, it always went off early in the AM, when there was no fire.. hopefully that problem has been fixed by now. The gardeners.. Lots of noise early in the morning with their leaf blowers, lots of dust, and don't plan on your car being clean after they leave. (They are a great crew as far as gardening goes, though) Our biggest problem was with management- and I do NOT mean on-site management, I mean the owners.. Two people in the front office covering for a facility of that size?? Seriously. SERIOUSLY?? And what happened to your surveillance cameras for the parking areas, you know, the ones you promised by last March. You'd be shocked at what goes on when staff leaves for the day. There's probably more, but it's mostly nitpicky stuff.. so I'll spare you, since you got this far in my long winded review! Would I live there again if I had to? Of course I would. Compared to what's available in that area, Court is a diamond in the rough!

Staff are very disrespectful. My husband and I have to deal with staff and people who live there disrespecting us daily. We are filings a law suit and they are going out of their way to mess with us. Sad that these people have to deal with others.
