Central air didn't work for two days they kept us updated on the progress of getting it fixed. I had to stay someplace else. I felt like I was about to die. The great thing about River East Loft is their prices you get a lot of sq ft in an apartment for affordable price when you are renting. I rather own and stay across the street for $1700 a month even a cheaper price and its your condo. I don't have to go without air for two days.

Constant and dangerous crime around the building. People loitering on the sidewalks and on the walkway behind the building all hours of the night and Group Fox/Lofts Management does nothing to address it. I am not referring to the restaurant or navy pier crowd as we know that crowds are part of the territory when you live downtown. I am referencing when all the businesses are closed after midnight. There was a Sh00ting last night directly in front of the building(8/15/2021). Seven rounds were fired into a car with occupants in front of the building at 2am. You’ll literally pay $3k-$4k a month here and not be able to go outside after 10pm. Group Fox Management needs to address the security issues outside their property so residents feel safe. See attached photo of the bullet hole that went through one of the entrances to the building. No communication was sent to the residents to address this. My car has also been broken into in the parking garage. Passenger window smashed .They will try to say they don’t own the garage and it’s not their fault, but when you take the tour you will see the parking spots are labeled “lofts residents” so there should be some level of accountability. For $250 a month to park the garage should have 24x7 security. The previous reviews about the move out fees are true. That and the crime are the talk of the neighbors here. The lack of trash clean up is also an issue. Please see pics of the garbage cans outside the Lofts at River East exits. This is how they have looked for the entire weekend of 8/13-8/15. Update 12/15- another violent crime episode. A smash and grab at the Target attached to our building. Do not rent here if you value your safety
