I love living in Lakeshore East and The Shoreham, I honestly never want to leave. there are slightly outdated finishes (plastic floor boards) bathroom counter & sink, Uba Tuba granite, appliances and fixtures, popular in the 90s and early 2000s. Unfortunately, updates will probably out-price a lot of residents from this Building. The amenity floor is great and just like the rest of the building needs some sprucing up. The door staff and engineers are amazing, but are spread too thin. It’s clear many engineers have left for different buildings. I do believe security could be tightened up by consistent announcement of guests and deliveries. Management has not been as professional with the purchase of the building by Lincoln and currently by Waterton, Magellan ran a much tighter ship with customer service and resident satisfaction at the top of the list. There is definitely the sense by many residents that I have personally spoken to that the residents are inconveniencing management rather than being offered excellent and professional customer service. This is such an easily solvable problem and yet it has remained for multiple years.

Lovely community to live in - lush green and full of life with a good walkability in and around. The dog park is a sight in the evening. We get to witness a lot of playfulness and cheer. And the Indian grocery store at the building is a blessing to have. Management is helpful and fairly quick in their response. Rents may seem a bit expensive but not absurdly. Recommend staying here if you want good views to downtown Chicago in a prime location.

The leasing office is super rude and unwelcome. I am super disappointed about my tour. They should treat their customer better.
